The mystery of Hitomi Fujiko. (Part I)
This is a true story.
Eight years ago, I had a blog about movies with three friends. Nothing serious, always with our signature touch of humor.
One of the articles I wrote back then was about a very curious story that happened in Active Worlds.
The thing is, after translating the article into English (the blog was in Spanish), feeding it to NotebookLLM, and making a few tweaks that didn’t take me more than half an hour, I got this. I find it incredible how the two AI speakers from Google maintain the tone and how they tell the story summarized and reworked by the AI in its own way.
I had to split the video in 2 bc of the 5 minutes limit of wc. The 2nd part is in the first comment.

Ok, I managed to catch a wild Maxi (those things bite like hell) and bottle it up.
I'm now conducting several experiments to see how well he withstand extreme pressures, radiation and more or less toxic atmospheres. 😁
Here we can see a picture of our friend after extracting the atmosphere from inside the bottle, i.e., he's exposed to vacuum.
And so happy. Die of envy, tardigrades.
The first conclusions are that Maxi is as tough as stone.

I don't know to what extent it makes sense to remake a movie that's only two years old, but putting that aside, I have to say I almost liked this American version more than the original Danish one. It's true that the original is darker, harsher, and grittier. But the incredible performance by James McAvoy, as well as the rest of the cast in this version, takes the cake.
If you're in the mood for an uncomfortable movie, with touches of pitch-black humor and, above all, incredibly harsh in terms of how far a human being can go to get what they want, don't miss it.

Thinking about it, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not a matter of money. Throughout my life, I’ve had too little, I’ve had way more than enough, and I’ve never felt more or less successful because of it. Awards and recognition are always appreciated, but it’s not that either. It’s about giving everything you’ve got to something (or someone) you love and achieving your goal. That’s it, at least for me.
