A year ago it took me a hundred hours and 10,000 generations of my own model to make the /animeoutcasts collection. Today, people are using ChatGPT to come up with adorable anime images instantly. Look how far we’ve come in a year!

A year ago I got on plane to Japan as the /animeoutcasts collection was minting. I left my laptop with my mom and told her I’d walk her through it if anything went wrong. Looking back a year later, that was crazy. Thank you all for all of your support, encouragement, and for letting me share my art here. I never imagined what this place could be but it’s all because of the awesome folks here.

A year ago I pressed the deploy button on the /animeoutcasts PFP collection and I was terrified no one would mint them. Thank you to everyone who took a chance on an unknown artist. Y’all changed my life for the better.
One year ago, I released my test collection before the official drop of the /animeoutcasts PFP collection.
I was really concerned that I would mess it up so I did a test and looking back, I’m so glad I did this and I love looking back on this collection.
They are hilarious and show how me and the AI got in a lot of fights.

A year ago today, my first NFTs were stuck in the contract and I was sobbing instead of celebrating my birthday.
But thanks to the amazing people here willing to trade NFTs with strangers (because I asked them nicely) and team @highlight for working over the weekend to sort out the bug, the original /animeoutcasts were born and paved the way for the larger pfp project.
I knew this place was special when the community gave me grace and patience to sort it out rather then scream rug and go on a witch hunt. It made me lean in even further. Thank you all for being awesome humans.
