Sharing my ideas, thoughts, and struggles as someone who has lived on three continents and is currently residing in Japan.

I listened to a show this morning and one of the questions was about the best place to live, or smth along those lines.

As someone who has lived in Albania, Oxford, Boston, Miami, and now Tokyo, I have some thoughts to share. The decision about where to live can either make or break your life.

If you're an ambitious person, you should choose cities that are equally ambitious.

These days, people often move for tax reasons, but when you're young, taxes are the last thing on your mind. You're more focused on chasing a dream or achieving a goal.

Paul Graham’s essay on this topic is definitely worth reading: https://paulgraham.com/cities.html
Next time thinking well before joining a 'companio', ask yourself can you share bread with them?

I come from business family traditions and values, so my roles models always came from small business. The work doesn't feel like work exactly, we yell and love strongly and ofcourse share bread and cheese with my family back in Albania but in Japan sharing onigiri 😁
I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who supported to interview the Japanese nurse climber of 14 peaks.

Unfortunately, the crowdfunding campaign didn’t succeed, so please withdraw the funds: https://crowdfi.withfabric.xyz/campaign/support-the-interview-with-the-first-asian-woman-to-summit-14-peaks-4pj1aq7bo2yo

I believe there are a few reasons for this: first, I didn’t promote it consistently enough. Second, the cause didn’t resonate strongly enough with a wider audience.

Nonetheless, I truly appreciate all of your support 💜 🙇‍♀️ !

Next steps : Already contacted Watanabe san and now waiting her reply🤞 .
I found this again, so I guess I have to recast for the second time 😅 !

Removing "working well under pressure" from my vocab and any future job interviews. It was a lie!

Now this is real pressure 🤯 !
I’ve listened to the podcast so many times while editing, and it never gets old. Each time I replay it, I discover something new and insightful in what you’ve shared—it’s like uncovering another layer of wisdom with every listen. Thank you very much 🙇‍♀️ !
To everyone who has followed and subscribed to my newsletter, thank you so much! I now have 242 subscribers, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support. I started the newsletter two years ago on Substack but only began posting regularly last year after leaving Kraken.

I've been calling Tokyo home for the past 6-7 years, and I’m excited to share some of my curiosities and experiences with you.

I’m always looking to share more insightful information about Japan. If you have any feedback or comments, I’d love to hear them. What would you like to see more of? Let me know!

You can easily link your X account with Warpcast. Super easy, I just did it now. Also keeps the bio clean without many links.
Network School is going strong, soon hitting the three-week mark! There’s been an amazing mix of people and topics discussed in the community.

The gym and burning sessions are still going strong, and now we’ve got some community-organized activities, like Animal Flow.

I'm giving it a try today for the first time. We’re in good hands—the instructor @lightningl a war veteran and a Level 2 Animal Flow trainer, so we’re learning from the best of the best!

I’ve decided to start a podcast called "Bee Curious," just like my newsletter, but with a broader focus on everything —not just Japan. I’m interviewing fascinating people from /network-states School but not only, aiming to introduce unique individuals and concepts I’ve encountered there.

Since I've committed to being an on-chain creator, I’m also exploring the idea of an on-chain podcast, thanks to a suggestion from @christin. Yesterday, I had an onboarding call with Lucas (@0xl) for /pods and I have to say, it was one of the smoothest onboarding experiences I’ve ever had.

I will post on Youtube, Spotify and Pods. Please stay tuned!

P.s thanks everyone who helped me to decide on the name of the podcast too hehe.

Love,
Ina
The banner for Bee Curious looks like this: I couldn’t decide which one to pick, so I ended up choosing this from Canva. What do you think?
I’m got to meet two great people today and yes that is my face in case you haven’t seen it haha 😆
My Airstack Far Score is 1.08 with a rank of 1470! The higher the score, the more my reactions help you earn Moxie. Check out your score! Made by Gambino (@greatgambino.eth)
Where I cast from (okay not every day but some days 😆)
Workout today: Lower body day—those Bulgarian split squats were tough! I started with a HIIT running: high-speed and lower intervals. Then, I moved on to lower body exercises like squats, Bulgarian splits, and more(don't know the names of it lol😅 ).

Somehow, I’m getting used to the daily /network-states burning sessions; they’re not as hard as they used to be.
I found this on fb actually but found it super cute.
Yes from small accounts is like suddenly being giant haha 😆
Yesterday I hosted a small tea ceremony here on Network School State using matcha from Kyoto. It was fun experience and chat!
Documenting my journey here on /network-states school daily. I bought the tripod yesterday and don’t know how to have better angle but will learn 😆 - we are heading for the physical test today of @bryanjohnson
Before I went to sleep last night, I was scrolling through my phone and couldn’t believe what I saw!
At that moment, I was brushing my teeth and screaming with joy to my hubby because… Dan Romero @dwr.eth, the legend himself, is following me! Yes, me!

Dan, I've been following you for almost a year now and truly admire your values and work. It’s an absolute honor to be followed by you. Thank you so much 💜 !
today we were trying to catch grab kind of uber taxi and since the place was new to us didn’t know which exit was the one to hop on. so we wander around and got lost to find the exit.

finally we got the taxi and entered inside. to my surprise Coldplay yellow music plays- has been ages since I listed to it.

we were annoyed by the situation and uneasy but once we started listening to that song nothing mattered to me. I forgot the noise inside my brain and I felt happy!
Yesterday we had a special guest @vitalik.eth at our /network-states school, it was my first time to see him in person and hear him speak. He shared the challenges of Zuzalu and made some funny jokes. Really enjoyed the talk!
Uhmm excuse me, how cool is this to hear and read first thing in the morning! Thanks 😊 so much for your appreciation and let me know if you need any help! Enjoy 🇯🇵🥰
Morning view from /network-states school. I woke a bit earlier today than other days and this is what I was rewarded
Thank you @davidtphung, we got to know each other from a shared love love for Steve Jobs and he supported my first project for tea here /farcastea!

Also happy birthday Chris, wish you long and healthy and happy life!
