Nice boat ride & a fish to boot !

I really love when this type of boat (sloep/dinghy) gets the sizing of flag and mast just right.

To my eye for this type of boat the mast should by around 1/3 of the waterline, and the flag should just hit the water with the tip when no wind. Perfect proportions, great look.

Tried to go back home today. Didn’t make it. Now I’m hanging out here. Will have to wake very early tomorrow morning to make appointment 📆 , worth it.

Time to pack up and find our way back home.

Had a nice night at the coast and we saw the sunset at the beach.

I honestly think purchasing a couple of comfort seats was the best upgrade I’ve ever did for the boat. They’re amazingly flexible, versatile and durable. I use them for everything, from captain-seat to on the deck.With our relatively large wooden bench on the aft on the boat it’s a perfect thing to find just the right spot to put your feet up (against) and chill.

Purchased a brand new motor for the boat. The one that was going strong since 1986 needed some rest... New motor is faulty though and now I'm stressed.

Hope they can fix or replace it soon, I really don't want to see a good portion of the season go to waste :(

Hoping for good news today.

Getting these off to put the winter ones ones. Going to be stitching in windows and “door” to these. Updating this to make it a little more usable in rainy conditions.

A little cleaning turned into about 6 hours worth. Had a nice break and a call with @mekhno. It's so frustrating to notice there is always more to do, but it's also quite soothing to do "actual" work. Pretty satisfied in the end, but not sure if my to-do list got shorter or longer today :)

Thanks @viisikanta.eth ! They're actually plastic with little LED lights, it's sad they're fake but it's so hard to keep something living on the boat (except he algae). Makes for a pretty nice effect during the evening though!
