Late night rant about scams, fake identities, and wishing I had something like /bot-or-not IRL.
A friend and their siblings received a horrifying spoof call from their mom’s number tonight telling them their mom was going to be killed if they didn’t send money to a specified address.
Confirmed by other means that their mom was ok. But hearing someone say your mom is in danger coming from her number still shakes you up.
Fuck you to the people who prey on others like this. And fuck, this is only going to get worse as spoofing gets easier and better.
Also how in god’s name do we not have an easier way to verify phone numbers in 2024?!

I checked @siadude via @botornot and it really hurts my feelings lol...i never shilled anything and really would like to know what this bot thinks is spam on my end...ok i like using emojis and cast once a day in /masks but low effort is just mean...i spend several hours a day on here and all i get is a human cast machine and a 💩 badge lol fu bot🖕
and not so long ago i had a powerbadge which is unfortunately gone...since then i'm casting like talking against a wall so it kinda doesn't matter anyway but i'm kinda mad nonetheless 😁

Rejecting this assessment bc I am appalled that this is what ppl see when they check me via this cast action.

- Cast a lot of profound questions this week via new Q&A frames by @ponder
- creative input for some founders in some channels on how to propagate their ideas and memes
- meaningful replies that connects me with others
- etc.
So hosting the /bananazone (which is not about what you might think it is) and one cast today about "We are so back LFG" in /mochimons puts me into this corner?
Poor algo...and cast action immediately deleted again bc if you are so wrong about about me, than I shouldn't trust you about your stance on others. Hopefully I am an edge case for whatever reason.
