Follow up on my qmk firmware fine tuning.
Dealing with the time outs of the tap and hold are really important, specially with the roll over when you type fast and you are using home row mods.
Today I have been playing with TAPPING_TERM and after trying with some options I finally ended up with the default value of qmk.
I have enabled as well caps words so by pressing at the same time left and right shift I can type all in cap words until I type a space or something similar and get back to lowercase. As I have the shift in my home row this action is super useful.

RETRO_TAP is not good for my way I use the keyboard. I will have to disable it.
Today I have been hacking the tap dance for {}, [], () and ¿?. So far so good.
Just uploaded my corne Spanish keyboard layout. It has some changes to the standard layout with tap dance for the question marks, and moving layers around. Nothing too fancy but I'm getting more comfy with it everyday.
this vid is a perfect top-to-bottom on what there is to know about typing position and Ben still manages to not make himself sound crazy despite clearly being a crazy person
i picked up my moonlander at around the time Ben Vallack started making videos about the review prototypes and planck boards and shit, and he's gotten REALLY good

Just enabled today home row mods and so far it is going well. The only problem is repeating keys within vim for moving around. Does anyone have a solution for that?
Has anyone ordered keyboards/caps from Space Holdings? I ordered this set in January and haven't heard anything since. I contacted support two weeks ago. Do they even exist anymore?

How are you dealing with CTRL and CMD -C in your QMK firmware? I'm wondering if I can make the cmd key to work as well as a ctrl key, like in Windows or Linux but on my Mac.
changed things up last night and switched (almost) all the 20g linears out for the 35g's instead
the Nocturnals are DEAD silent and soft as a pillow, but the near-zero resistance means i misclick or fat finger a lot of keys, so i'll probably try them out again when i get new keycaps with a little more spacing in between
so far, the Twilights are solving the problem beautifully tho

new switch day! going to some SUPER light linears and keeping the tactile Sunsets on board for a little bit of key feedback
35g Twilights - home row, Space, Backspace
55g Sunsets - mods, layers, Tab, Esc
20g Nocturnals - everything else
um, first impressions, it's like typing on a cloud?
i think i love it?

My latest 42 layout.
My most recent update was moving numerals to the home row.
Still kinda getting used to it after a week but...
It's definitely faster and I'm no longer inadvertently ⌘+Qing apps when mistyping a 1 🫠
