There is nothing more cringe than claiming to have PMF when you clearly don’t

THIS. Is why we do what we do.
If you’d rather play with AI have fun, we’ll continue to fight for freedom.

Something I’ve noticed about top performers: they’re never affected by losses or setbacks. Bad play? Still show out on the next one. Lost a sale? Same exact demeanor on the next.
Put another way, they make their own momentum. No matter what the current circumstances are they’re indifferent to them.
(This first entered my mind by watching Jimmy Butler play basketball)

It’s interesting how crypto, an industry built on distrust for traditional institutions, has constructed its own institutions that you’re not allowed to distrust or question.
I love the fact that people are earning meaningful amounts of money on here, but the argument that FC is better because “I earn much less on X for doing much more” is nonsense. The money comes from somewhere, and Farcaster’s funding will run out eventually.
They’re subsidizing growth hoping users won’t need a cash incentive to join once the network hits escape velocity. Its a tried and true playbook but shouldn’t be conflated with the platform somehow being superior to X. Its a temporary feature.
(P2P tipping is very different and IMO a much more interesting feature)

This is very different from mindshare. Mindshare is by definition a % of attention and is very difficult to get.
Attention spans are weak so you can get it briefly, but living in the collective mindshare for a sustainable period is more competitive than ever.
