Discussions of all things music tech

I think we need to escape spotify algorithm all together and go back to the old way of listening music on mp3 players
This might be the best thing to own in 2025 where everything is decided by an algo and every music app has a subscription
Music rights are about to become programmable, just like software and money.

I have been here since dawn

This app removes instrumental, vocal and others from sound.

I do use this for practicing the exact guitar line in a song🎸🎧
Things that should be equally fast:

➜ streaming a song
➜ getting paid for that stream
I often listen to music and it make us have good statutes

I’m realizing that all my critiques of Spotify’s algorithm were really a result of AI drift. Actively tending to it dramatically improves the outputs over time.

I’ve been noting activities that keep me driving:
- In-app feedback mechanisms (disliking songs/artists I don’t want to hear again, being more selective of which to add to playlists)
- Regular manual discovery to introduce variety and set standards — rabbit holes encouraged.
- Switching to podcasts to give my brain a break from music and a chance to get back in touch with what I actually WANT to listen to
- Fewer auto-radio stations

(Still preferring Apple Music for active listening sessions, and “journaling” in Spotify more)
Support your favorite creators directly with $AAA 👁️ Tip artists, buy exclusive content, and participate in fan-funded projects.
Creators struggle to connect with fans and earn fair compensation. Having $$$ priced tickets and barely seeing 10% of that is normal. Where tf is the costs going?

$AAA facilitates direct engagement, enabling new monetization models and fostering stronger communities, too.
✷ your royalties should flow directly to you.
✷ your IP should be under your control.
✷ your payments shouldn't take months.
✷ your creative work deserves transparency.

Here’s me and a Midas M32 digital console. What’s your favourite console?
Music that plays in a frame in one click that can be minted via the frame.
A frame that shows all my music collections that I can turn into a playlist!

Heard today that Venice Music was winding down.
Seems not true. Anybody heard anything along these lines?
