πŸ“ Seoul - South Korea πŸ‡°πŸ‡·

Beyond the fact that Korea is a very technological country, in my opinion, where you can see very modern architecture, it is also a country where its culture and tradition are highly respected.

For this reason, there are many places where you can see peace and tranquility, like in fairy tales.

And when this peace is mixed with the architecture of its temples, the water and the green of the trees and plants...the result is wonderful!

Have you been to Korea @betashop.eth ?
A few days ago @betashop.eth asked about places to go in South America, I suggested Venezuela, my country, Here are some images that may serve as a reference, It is "corales" beach in the state of Aragua.

A few years ago, I had to travel to Korea for work.

There, I had to start up a machine, together with a Korean engineer. Neither he knew Spanish, nor I Korean. Neither of us knew English either. So, we solved all the problems by drawing. We laughed a lot, because at times we didn't understand anything at all.

When I got to the hotel, I wanted to go out and explore. But I was a little scared of getting lost, of not being able to communicate. It was my first time in a country where no one understood Spanish.

But I got the courage. I went into a store to buy something to drink with alcohol (I still have the bottle). I was there, I estimate, for more than 1 hour, trying to tell the guy who served me what I wanted. I laughed a lot, he did too. I discovered that you can survive without being able to communicate or doing it as best you can. From this experience, I was encouraged to live incredible adventures.
Got my FT's so I can cast in here!

I’m going to Dresden (for a conference) and Paris in a few weeks. Anyone know of some fun things to do in Dresden?
Japan in 10 days, not Tokyo, not Kyoto, not Osaka.

What’s the plan?

I'm considering working remotely from somewhere in South America or Central America from 28 October to 1 November.

Any recommendations from anyone who has traveled to the region during October?
πŸ“ Amazon rainforest, Ecuador πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨

I have always been very curious. And as curious as I am, I am also respectful.

Because of this, I have had very good experiences or others... well... not so much.

In addition to enjoying the landscapes, the different climates and the human connections, I am also fascinated by experiencing the customs of the places I visit.

So much so, that on a visit to the indigenous inhabitants of the Amazon rainforest, among other things I was able to enjoy their culture, it was my turn to drink a very typical preparation: for those who do not know it, a preparation similar to "Chicha". The main ingredient is the bacteria from the saliva of all the people who chew and spit in the manufacturing process.

The taste was simply, CREEPY. And my discomfort lasted a couple of days 🀒. But I would never have despised what was kindly offered to me.

Here you can see that when I drank it, I already knew how it was made πŸ˜….
