I see my son saying ninjin-san (Mr. Carrot 🥕 人参さん) as he goes about his breakfast. Don't think he got it from me.

Is personification of foods common among japanese kids too?

Machine translation is amazing. I don't think I could have written a better-worded reply myself.

(Or @saxophone55.eth has been sandbagging about his English ability)
Bento discounts are among the many reasons I love living in japan
Just saw that a lot of auctions have been scheduled!

It hasn't had as much love recently compared to the portfolio page, but @moxiescout auctions are still alive and well.

Feature requests welcome!

Stoked to get the NFTs showing up with the ids viewable. Going to break for a meal now and see how much further I can get today, if I have time.

Great progress.
Hit my baseline target for today.

Now onto testing multiple nfts to different addresses.

Onwards!
Building in public on Farcaster is the best.

Where else can you get an open network of such talented, supportive people?

Basic idea is to streamline the nft drop process for alfafrens subs and moxie fan token holders. @youssea helped me write a smart contract the other day to get started, and I'm going to work on filling in the remaining pieces.

A big W today would be using the web UI to drop an NFT of choice from one of my wallet address to another.
Fun run.

First long run in a long time. The goal was simple: just have fun.

Stopped to take pictures, grabbed a water from a convenience store, and even walked a bit when things got tough.

After finishing the run, took the monorail back close to home and then a 5km bike ride to help me back up the giant hill.
A few months ago, I worked with @web3designer on a t-shirt design for my son's nursery school. He did a bang-up job and a teacher at the school did some custom drawing for the back.

We just got the first shirt delivery today.

Super cool!!

(s/o to @bountycaster for making this whole thing possible 🙏)

MIW: zenidrop
Baseline target: basic working prototype
I can't get tired of my 2yo exclaiming お月さん!月亮!!Moon! while designing his blocks today.

It's a welcome improvement on "papa, no"
Getting tutored on Solidity dev and Foundry by @youssea from @superfluid (AlfaFrens, Superboring)

Super grateful for the opportunity to be part of their Frontier Guild and build new experiences together 🔥🔥🔥
Brought my 2yo, wife, and MIL to a dinner with other track and field athletes after my most recent race. One of the college students (built like a rugby player) played with my 2yo nearly the entire time.

Can't even express how much I appreciate people like this.
First mini-tempo after yesterday's recovery.

All I can say is that I'm glad my race wasn't longer than 1500m 😅

Lots of work to do, but excited to lean into the new training.
Devcon confirmed!

Let me know if you're going, would love to meet!
A beautiful story of risk, courage, wisdom, and what I'd hope is a path forward for humanity.

MIW: in control
Baseline target: devcon booked and ready, all this week's work planned out, quick turnarounds turned around
"You weren't slower than him. You just died faster"

I asked an old running friend for advice on yesterday's race. He knows my general training routine (~1 mile a day, no breaks) and gave me some advice.

_Tempo runs to build strength._

I already have the speed, he said. But I died too fast at the end.

I watched the last 200 meters back a few times. This is where I lost the race.

He's 100% right.

Tempo runs, it is.

(Tempo runs suck, but I'll learn to love them)
Most Important Work 2024.10.13 🔨🏋️

MIW: run fast
Baseline target: faster than 4:55 (last year's winning time)
Stretch target: win
Pretty sure I was the only one racing in trainers today. Gotta do some real training over this next year so I feel like I deserve the fancy gear.
1500m results: 2nd place 🥈

4:42.05

Well I didn't win. But I ran 22 seconds faster than last month and 14 seconds faster than my target time (and last year's winning time).

Basically a perfect race but I got out-kicked.

Tons of fun, and goals for next year.

Splits

3: 1'15"
4: 54" (300m)
Track meet lunch and snacks thanks to the Nakagusuku Village sports association.

Chose the katsudon to increase my chances, but only ate half because I have to race in about 1.5 hours.
About 2 hours before I run. Enjoying the atmosphere.
