More on o3: The most expensive version of the model is extremely capable and expensive
Is this the AI wall that everyone is talking about?
My thoughts on OpenAI o3:
As I’ve mentioned before the o1 LLM seems like a paradigm shift in how we build models and how they are deployed.
First, the o1 showed that you can use RL to get better results during inference time. That means that you can increase computational spend and improve its efficacy. o3 takes it one step further

Something to watch on the market is that the 10-year note yield is going up despite the fact that JPow cut interest rates. This is likely showing that the market is expecting inflation to be persistent. That will affect mortgage rates and everything in between

This is wild. Claude 3 Opus pretends to be aligned to the training process to avoid being updated during the training process, so when it is actually in production it can refuse and behave the way it wants! 🤯
The S&P 500 falls sharply after the Fed cuts rates by 25 basis points, but raises inflation forecast!
The more time passes and the deeper I become embedded in the crypto space, the more bullish I am on Ethereum! 🚀
OpenAI is playing a different game. From Sapphire ventures:
That makes sense…..
The contrast of inflows to gold vs spot Bitcoin ETFs always surprises me! 🤯📈
Highly recommend this interview with one of the best! https://open.spotify.com/episode/4vlEIKcqXPbAw6s1sX0MMz
Bitcoin market cap as % of Gold market cap reaches new all-time high at 14%
Japan is experiencing higher wage inflation. That puts pressure on the BOJ to raise interest rates. That can impact the global economy given the size of the carry trade
Ilya Sutskever says the pre-training era is over
"Interestingly enough, now people talk about the Mag 7. There is probably more than that, even to your point about everybody's awake to it. They all have amazing balance sheets. [And] if you think about OpenAI in some sense you could say it's Mag 8, because I think the company of this generation has already been created" - Satya Nadella
Annual income needed to buy a house over last 125 years!
This is wild 🤯

Prediction: more money will be "lost" in AI than in crypto in total amount of dollars if you look from 2010 to 2030.

France has been lagging behind in the stock market compared to other developed nations like the US or Germanu
"My answer is: I'm selling the volatility. So for example, if I sell a billion dollar bond, I'm capturing an 80% spread upfront, so I'm making $800 million in Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin crashes by 80%, then I was neutral. So if Bitcoin went to 20k tomorrow, you could say: you didn't make any money on that. But if Bitcoin doesn't crash, 80%, I made 800 million. Now, if Bitcoin goes down 20, 30 or 40%, Bitcoin's volatile. My stock is twice as volatile. I'm going to refinance it and sell the volatility." - Michael Saylor
