Founder doing your own crypto accounting? I'd love to speak to you.

$100 for ~40 minutes of product feedback and I may be able to help you 🙏

Just shoot me a DM
What sites or products inspire most of your investments?

I'm helping a team better understand what data leads people to mint, lock, and trade *to grow their wealth*. If there's a product or workflow that consistently leads to you transacting, I'd love to hear about it!

To be considered for a 30 minute conversation (paying $40 USDC), please fill out this 2 minute questionnaire 🙏: https://survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90743758/510bd1b3a19b

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually very excited to learn more about crypto bookkeeping 😅

If you do accounting for your crypto startup, I'd love to talk to you. Shoot me a DM and we can setup a call
We're looking to speak with experienced crypto accountants, CFOs, and founders doing their own bookkeeping 📈, and we're providing gifts of $100 as thanks for your time participating in a 50 minute interview.

If that sounds like you, please fill out this ~4 minute survey, and we'll pick a few people to interview. We'll ask about your company's challenges with crypto accounting, but won't ask you to share any sensitive financial info.

Deadline 08/30/2024 - let me know if you have any questions!

@bountybot
The more I hear consumer crypto product execs talk about their users, the more I think everyone's personas are basically a 1:1 match

👀 @openux
There's a time/place for very scrappy user research, and a time/place for very deliberate user research.

These are the two best articles I've seen walking through the steps of performing both:
1. Scrappy UXR at early YouTube: https://elizlaraki.substack.com/p/make-youtube-better
2. Assumption-driven UXR: https://www.productcompass.pm/p/assumption-prioritization-canvas
Anyone seen great 2024 case studies on how teams are using AI to generate personas from interview transcripts?
Join a ~20 minute interview if you recently have been an active user of Remix IDE (https://remix.ethereum.org/)

$20 USDC

What's the best open source web analytics tool today? A team I know is growing out of Matomo's functionality
This is a great interview! Touches on the enticing trap of 'middle-range' user research, and how to push stakeholders to pursue more actionable uxr projects

Looking for the best example of copy on a /pricing or /plans page that explains the value users are getting from the product, rather than a laundry list of features... anyone got one?

Apple's pretty good
why do you build?
8 interviews, 210 tags in Dovetail spanning 290 highlights, 10 research questions I have to answer, 10 additional research questions I *want* to answer. Empty Google Sheet and Doc open.

It feels like I can never predict what happens next during the interview analysis phase, but it's always fun and gratifying
@openux has research coming up that touches everything from top L1s to public goods with 1000s of DAUs—all are looking to pay stipends to devs for feedback on their roadmaps

Feel free to sign up or share with a dev if you like being a part of this kind of research! https://survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90708011/fb67c5f727a4
For the JTBD fans: how much do you agree with this advice?

If the job people hire your competitors for is narrow, observe their inertia to leave. If inertia is low, build a better mousetrap. If inertia is high, pivot

If the job is broad, find a meaningful gap in how well it's served by competitors and innovate there
User research = Business development

Pay your ideal customers $100/hr to talk with you about their problems

You'll not only find new ways to improve your product, you'll also form a new customer relationship built on empathy, trust and a legitimate desire to solve their problems

Been thinking about the limits of consuming information as text...

Is recalling/applying information we learned in physical/visual contexts 'easier' than doing the same with info we learned from text?

Or does the bland/constrained nature of 2D text actually make it easier to recall/apply that info in the real world?

What are the best bots for bottom-up community curation of links?

Thinking of an experience where someone can submit a link, a summary of the link (self- or LLM-generated), 2–3 important quotes, and tap a button to ship it all to a Discord/Telegram channel

(Trying to end the days of descriptionless link posting)
The squad at @openux just started using @paragraph to run our newsletter and were able to launch without a hitch. Really slick user experience

Our first post is a big one, laying out plans to get more members involved in building out the collective: https://paragraph.xyz/@openux/introducing-squads
