To my fellow Filipinos, back in October I heard that GOtyme digital bank had been granted a VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) license by the BSP. This means that GOtyme will soon have crypto support, just like GCash, Maya, and CoinsPH, etc..

Sign up for an account, then on the left side of the app, click on Store. If you're on a desktop or laptop, choose and download "Grass Desktop App" and pick the one for your OS. The desktop app gives the fastest mining speed of 2x. Mining on phones is slower, and a mobile app is in the works.

Once the desktop app has been installed, log into your account with it and click "Connect" to start mining. Then, go to the Rewards section and connect and verify your email and Solana addresses.

This is something I've wanted to share here since I joined, but always keep forgetting to post.

Anyway, here is a new texturing suite named Instamat, that I discovered at the start of 2024. It's said to be like a combination of six tools from rival Adobe's Substance family of texturing software.

Now, if that doesn't excite you yet, you can download it for free, and get a Pioneer license that allows you to use it without any restrictions for a year, and even use it on freelance projects.

This initial release is only for Windows and Mac, but a Linux version is in beta. The software also comes with plugins for Maya, 3dsmax, and Blender. It works well on Linux too, under Wine, of course.

So, if you're serious about looking for a Substance alternative, this is it!
