hello. i was doing a thing. i've finished now.
can someone tell me what happens with that 10% in Rodeo secondary sales on opensea? if the seller has opted to support it, despite Rodeo not having it built in afaik(?), does 'creator' refer to just the artist or would it be the same 50/50 contract split with rodeo?
just accidentally discovered that if you hit tilda (~) in macOS preview, you get a 🔍 and you can + - the size. huh.

i still prefer to zoom in like x800 and scoot around with my hand like im exploring the seabed, but fun little discovery today
thanks @sabato for picking up an edition of Electric Shimmer []--

been hustling outside the box for the last 2 weeks. been quiet here, but extremely, sleep-deprivingly busy elsewhere. hoping it pays off. but also bracing myself to be ready to accept it (after a couple days of tears) if it doesnt.
I have just collected "hiccupping" by @littlecakes on @objktcom
what’s that phenomenon when you’re nervously waiting on a really important email, and suddenly you receive no emails from anyone, no spam, nothing, complete radio silence.

eery and just making me more nervous ☠️
tastemakers having no taste, is a problem

was in the archives today and found this :)
that time i played visuals for Deadmau5 back in 2009.

i miss crowds like this! (warning: potato cam)
really gave into the delusions today. it cheered me up.
im still feeling cramped by how narrow the main timeline is on WC compared to twixxer. always feels a little harder to 'see' over here after ive been at the other place. can we make it wider and give our eyes some room to relax?

the annoying thing about working in 4k/higher res is how the details dont translate to posts, so here's a zoom in.

gifs are cut form a longer 1/1 video, but thought it'd be fun to make some cheap editions available too 🙌

i think a lot of people just dont get, or believe, super techy work when its made by a woman. its like they think it's a lie, or the making of it is a lie. it's somehow not true, not trustworthy.

have experienced this many times in my life before. people rushing up after a show to congratulate the artist, but asking me to my face where 'he' is. i feel it still in nft world. i dont like it.

im maybe just too tired to have opinions, or voice them at least, today 🤐
oops should have posted this in theory probably. but yeh i dont get it, and i wish i did because i dont mean, or want to be overly cynical.

but feels like it should either have royalties baked in, or if its just for 'fun' / networking, then be tip-based rather than acquisition based?
have a series of (imo very pretty) unreleased work/wips i was thinking could be good for rodeo, but looking into the model im struggling to understand why id put anything there; mint fee < 0.4tz, no royalties, no secondary. zero longterm return on any of the work you are basically giving away.

considering releasing it all on objkt at 1tz each instead. i'd still be wayyy ahead on every meaningful aspect to me.

can anyone sell me on rodeo? help me understand the appeal because right now it feels like artist labor being used/exploited to prop up a company business model thats based on sheer tx volume
