Chapter 1.2
Astro followed Oracle through the cavern. The walls lined with strange, alien plants that glowed with bioluminescent light. Schools of fish darted through the water, their scales shimmering like silver coins.
As they swam deeper, the water grew colder and darker. The pressure began to build, squeezing at Astro's spacesuit. He could feel the cold seeping through his layers of protection, chilling him to the bone.

"Tell me Astro, when you look upon me what do you see?" the Oracle inquired.
"I see a monster, a kraken." Astro replied cautiously.
The Oracle's voice rumbled through the dense water, "A kraken?!?"
"Fascinating how the mind along with fear controls what you mortals envision."

Puzzled by the inquiry, Astro asked "What else would I see other than what's before me?"

"I am only a kraken to you, young Astro. It is the defense of an Oracle. To be seen as the deepest fear of those who gaze upon me. You will learn in the @monniverse, not everything phavers what it appears to be."

Astro qui…

Chapter 1.1
Astro's heart pounded in his chest. He was face-to-face with a creature straight out of a nightmare. It was frightening, and its skin was a sickly shade of green, and its eyes glowed with intensity. Tentacles trailed from its back, writhing and twisting in the water.
"Who are you?" Astro croaked.
The creature chuckled, its voice like the rasp of a rusty gate. "I am Oracle, the keeper of secrets. I have been waiting for you. You are the one to bring balance to this world."
Astro felt a shiver run down his spine.
"What is this place?"
"The Monniverse," Oracle replied. "A world hidden beneath the waves. A world forgotten for centuries."
Astro's mind raced. He was an astronaut, not a fantasy adventurer. He had no business being here. He remembered the strange, prophetic dream he had had just before waking up.
"I had a dream," he said. "A dream about this place."
Oracle nodded. "A dark force is rising, a force that seeks to destroy all life in Monniverse. Only you can stop it."
Astro felt a surge of…
Chapter 1: The Abyss Stares Back

The world was a watery nightmare. Astro gasped, his lungs burning. Saltwater filled his mouth and nose, stinging his eyes. He thrashed, trying to find solid ground, but there was none. Only the endless, inky blackness of the deep.
Panic clawed at him. He was an astronaut, not a deep-sea diver. His spacesuit was no match for this crushing pressure. He was doomed.

Then, a flicker of light pierced the darkness. Astro's heart pounded as he realized it was coming from a nearby cave. He struggled towards it, his movements hindered by the bulky spacesuit.

The cave opened into a vast, underwater cavern. The walls were lined with bioluminescent coral, casting an eerie glow. Schools of fish darted through the water, their silver scales shimmering in the light.

Astro swam closer to the cave wall and peered into the darkness. He saw a figure standing there, a silhouette against the dim light. The figure turned and stepped into the cavern, revealing itself to be a tall, creature wit…

Farcaster got flooded with blah blah faster than anyone expected. It did make me wonder about web3 apps/dapps in general,
1. if it cost the user $ to cast/post then maybe the user should receive $ for the storage each update consumes on our devices.
2. There's tons of social dapps, with their own perks/benefits, yet most of them lack messaging ability.
3. When will there be a consensus regarding image file formats? Auto convert the image type in app instead of having users convert one image for each platform.
4. Has any app successfully prevented spam bots? When actual active users are labeled as spam accounts and the obvious bot accounts are not...means you've created a social app for bots. Real users will vanish, then bots pumping bots. ♻️
5. Devs, if you're claiming it's decentralized, it better be completely transparent as to how. Your responsibility to your creation comes before your popularity gained from your creation.

Also, ironically when I swipe "farcaster" it autocorrects to "garbage" 😂
Never compromise with yourself.
