I get it...Just cast bangers BUT...

I'm still fuzzy on how to think of channels vs my home feed?

I want to understand when to do what without making some weird FC faux pas and yes its nice to understand reach optimization too but that is priority #2

Building brand equity is a long game
Your tech matters, but so does the story you tell
Keep refining your brand story as your product evolves
Story scales trust
Trust lands deals

Ok, maybe I should put all of this into a frame? Stay tuned...post car pool I might f around with some Frame Train cc: @chrisdom

People don’t buy products they buy confidence 💡
Build a brand that speaks about reliability not just innovation

Reminder ⏰
Your brand is as critical as your code
Your tech needs to solve problems but your brand needs to build trust
Both lead to adoption

Just some Friday afternoon B2B musings

Henry was walking slowly and crying during his walk tonight 😢

So we are now at the emergency vet and still lots of crying 😢

Seems like his back leg is causing him pain so getting pain meds, sedation and an x-ray 😔

Send good vibes our way 🙏

To the next President,
I want you to lead with kindness and to push for unity, not division. Respect women and be a role model for my children.

Sincerely,
Shira

Simply aiming to deliver the best product at the right price at the right time is not enough.

The ability to anticipate the needs of your customers (big & small) is what you really need for your business to grow and thrive.

So focus on relationships & listening. Not on transactions & products.
You can lose yourself in trying to gain the greatest technological advantage.

You can experiment endlessly to try to demonstrate the possibilities of new tech.

But ultimately you need to be focused on one thing. What do customers want.
So you want to create a movement, where do you start?

1. Inspire belief and make sure that your team is excited about your mission, create an aspirational story

2. Deliver on your brand promise and create frequent moments to deliver a customer experience that feels special, celebrate behaviors, establish rituals

3. Create excitement and energy that the outside world recognizes as real (not just surface hype), make people take notice

So you need internal, customers and outsiders to all be bought in
Thinking about this as we adjust to the new channel changes

Feels like we are in the sufficiently uncomfortable but not too uncomfortable zone Aka the sweet spot
Channel clarity in terms we are familiar with 😉
Turkeys, diapers, baby formula, detergent. Put me in coach. I would have crushed it on Supermarket Sweep.
I get a jolt of energy when I hear a Diet Coke can open

Can you hear it? 🫧
If you really want to understand the power of brand, check out the airport Starbucks line at 7am on a Sunday

People will wait and pay more for coffee at Starbucks than for a coffee at an unknown place with no line

Why?

A strong brand commands a premium price

A strong brand creates lasting memories & associations that are triggered when a customer enters an active 'buying' state

A strong brand gives people confidence and reassures them of their purchase

*these prices are a little outdated but you get the point
Good morning ☀️
