When I went to university, I started out in Physics. I didn't really have a strong pull to study that topic, but my grades were reasonably good in that subject in highschool, and I had a general interest in the sciences.

One of my required courses early on was an intro to Computer Science. The course was taught using Python, and I just loved it - both the specific language, as well as the concepts covered. It was the only class that year that I actually looked forward to listening to the lecture, as well as to work on the assignments.

Over a decade later and now I program all day at work, and then work on my own code projects in the evening (extremely limited time permitting, I have a toddler and a newborn).

Here's a quick thread on the creation of the /formative channel logo:
When I was a teenager, I created a lyrics website for songs that didn't have any lyrics online. I added adsense and started earning cents which I was happy about, but was banned a few days later, forever, with no way to appeal. I have hated corpos (and centralization) ever since (& gathered many more similar stories).
I put a formative experience of mine on the blockchain a long time ago. Now there’s a channel to share it.

Caution though it’s about 10,000 words. Can be read without minting of course.

When I was an elementary student, I was a varsity badminton player all the way through high school. Unfortunately, when I got to college, I lost interest because of computer games. Few years passed Im glad Im able to comeback and now as a trainer of badminton in school.
My journey to web 3, right after i graduated from Uni, I started applying for remote jobs but none came in.

Applied like 20-30 applications in a day but no show for me.

Got to YouTube and started learning solidity, today I participate in hackathons and bounties that makes me ME xD.
I wasn't qualified at all for my first SEO agency job

had literally never used Google Search Console

was thrown to the wolves instantly, 15 clients dropped on me day one

worked crazy hours, 8am to 8pm, developed carpal tunnel from so much clicking

but in 6 months was given the agency's most valuable client 🤝
When I was 12, I grabbed Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy off the shelf of my Grade 6 classroom.

Adam's turns of phrase, the absurdist and yet deep understanding of the universe resonated with me so deeply, that I can point to this one book, and this one event, as a point where I became a different person.
