We could just pay them off and modernize the ports with what we send to Ukraine in a day
Depends what the specifics are but I think there was a lesson learned from Web 2.0 that a lot of ideas from 1.0 that failed were not bad they were just early.
Technical infrastructure, market, and/or execution of the idea changed and they ended up working.
There’s a similar effect that happened/is happening with 3.0 but if it’s just takes it’s obviously much less meaningful than actually executing

In the same way Travis and Uber, not MAAD, effectively ended drunk driving — Elon and Starlink will connect the farthest reaches of the globe
Yet the non-profits, NGOs, and govt try to solve these problems hate both Travis and Elon despite the latter solving them. Why?
