mad respect, bro... I got nothin' on you 😂
I build muscle with a different kind of weight setup. Tuna dumbbells, the product of a @superrare kite fishing double on triple digit tunas. One yellowfin (113#) and one bluefin (140#). Rare as it gets but my gym works well.
132LBS/60KG lat pulldowns

I find this workout more interesting than pullups when working on the lats of course.

On the other hand, pullups really help in bodyweight lifting (calisthenics), i always feel lighter after doing pullups

Which do you prefer?

All i can say is warm up weight was kinda heavy 🤣
But the grind never stops, winter arc on the way. 🦇
Day 1: Set Your Goals

1. Define your muscle-building objectives (e.g., gain 10 lbs in 3 months).
2. Take progress photos and measurements.
3. Create a workout journal to track progress.

*Workout Tip:* Focus on compound exercises (squats, deadlifts, bench press).

*Nutrition Tip:* Eat 1.6-2.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight daily.

tip: Warm-up and stretching routines.
These are actually some fantastic tips… Thanks @goldenelums! Everyone should give it a read and comment below on what you think 👇🏼

Every piece of fitness advice I could come up with after I started working out

1. Stop drinking alcohol.
2. Salt, honey & methylene blue before exercise supercharges workouts.
3. Getting in shape is 90% diet and 10% exercise.
4. The ultimate morning mood booster is sun gazing.
5. The most powerful supplement combination is magnesium chloride and B1/Thiamine.

6. To supercharge fat loss, eat at least 70g of animal protein within 90 mins of waking.
7. Higher reps/lower weight to lose weight.
8. Heavier weight/fewer reps to build strength and mass.
9. Never sacrifice form for heavier weight.

10. You're at your strongest between 12-4 pm.
I aim for my back to be like this, even in its relaxed form. This is a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger's back in the 80's.

Step 1
Capture: Took a photo of my back before i started the training, so i can compare later, probably in a month or two. (Won't be as huge as this one. Yet.)

Step 2
Addition: Plan a chart of the workouts i do daily, and always including some particular back workouts for lats and mid region every single time i hit the gym.

Step 3
Visualize: Envision the back before workout, during workout and after. For everything starts from the imagination.

Step 4
Stretch: I stretch and flex my back every chance i get, whether I'm looking in the mirror or swinging my hands, i try to make sure my back feels something everytime i move. I want to keep the back locked in always.
Found out about /muscle some days ago

Perfect channel for my gym rants.

(Yes, I’m starting now)

Skipped the gym for over two months. I tell myself it’s because of work, but deep down… deep deep down, I can’t deny the fact that I’m really hesitant cus I can’t go through the feeling of having DOMS all over again.

Returned to the gym last month.. The soreness over my chest, back and shoulders(oh my have I forgotten how bad that feeling used to be) and when it was time for leg day, i bailed and didn’t go back (not ready for that pain yet)

But I need to go to the gym soon cus my body dysmorphia is eating me up here.

It’s actually quite funny icl
