132LBS/60KG lat pulldowns

I find this workout more interesting than pullups when working on the lats of course.

On the other hand, pullups really help in bodyweight lifting (calisthenics), i always feel lighter after doing pullups

Which do you prefer?
If music is therapy, Eminem is my therapist.
David Goggins once said he doesn't listen to music when training or any motivational words like that...

Simply because; What happens when there's no music anymore?
What happens when there's no motivation to train?
Do you stop?

Like i said in my Success cast, focus on the working system, make it easier so you don't have to think deeply on it before acting.

Forget about goals, focus on systems instead - Prevailing wisdom claims that the best way to achieve what we want in life is to set specific, actionable goals. My results have very little to do with the goals i set and nearly everything to do with the system i followed. Goals are good for setting a direction, but system are best for making progress.

When i solve problems at the goal level, i only solve them temporarily. In order to improve for good, i need to solve problems at the systems level. Fix the inputs and the outputs will fix themselves.

Do you have a working system?
I aim for my back to be like this, even in its relaxed form. This is a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger's back in the 80's.

Step 1
Capture: Took a photo of my back before i started the training, so i can compare later, probably in a month or two. (Won't be as huge as this one. Yet.)

Step 2
Addition: Plan a chart of the workouts i do daily, and always including some particular back workouts for lats and mid region every single time i hit the gym.

Step 3
Visualize: Envision the back before workout, during workout and after. For everything starts from the imagination.

Step 4
Stretch: I stretch and flex my back every chance i get, whether I'm looking in the mirror or swinging my hands, i try to make sure my back feels something everytime i move. I want to keep the back locked in always.
I deadass just saw a tweet where they were calling the girl ugly and some were dropping positive comments and this guy literally said;

"don't listen to the positive comments" 😭😭

I'll leave you to your thoughts ;)
When James Clear launched an app called "Atom", interesting idea from his book where we use the smallest particles in the world to create something huge.

Also the app uses the 2-minute rule where you find the easiest reason to do something, like;

- "I wanna become a knowledge seeking person, so i must read a book everyday"

It could be anything that makes your going easier too, like;

- "I enjoy sitting at the gym everyday for at least 2 minutes" or you love writing while at the gym"

You end up doing something, just make it easier for your brain.

Entitlement closes in upon itself in a kind of narcissistic bubble, distorting anything and everything in such a way as to reinforce itself. People who feel entitled view every occurrence in their life as either an affirmation of, or a threat to, their own greatness. If something good happens to them, it's because of some amazing feat they accomplished. If something bad happens to them, it's because somebody is jealous and trving to bring them down a notch.
What's your most painful workout?

Mine is the bicep curls with 10kg total.

At first you would think "isn't that pretty light?"
It is, but how fast am i moving?

I have to curl so slow with this barbell that my biceps tighten so hard just to get this up for 10 consecutive reps.

I do this for muscle arrangement, especially after going heavy. The pain you feel from this workout is immense, especially when you have a partner that stops you when you go a bit faster than normal😹

PS: your hand tends to vibrate when you hold anything after the workout.
Who's the most funny act?

First off, we all agree on scrapping Jackie Chan off right?

Also agree on putting Adam Sandler in the play? to make it really fun... he would be my most likely choice here.

Nobody talks about Jonah Hill?🥲...

It's tough trying to pick between Ryan Reynolds and Eddie Murphy here

Who's yours?
People usually say they're looking for motivation, or the right time.

I barely say those things because they're the killer of self. The only reason i can accept is that you don't have the resources to do what needs to be done.

You don't need motivation to breathe or walk right?
Make your life simple as that

Don't look for motivation to hit the gym, just walk to the gym and seat, you'll do something.

You don't need motivation to read a book, just open the book and look at it, you'll see something.

Looking for motivation is like searching for happiness.
So i was reading my summary of "The Psychology of Money" that i wrote down... and i remembered something i found about Luck and Risk.

- Luck and risk are both the reality that every outcome in life is guided by forces other than individual effort. They are so similar that you can’t believe in one without equally respecting the other. They both happen because the world is too complex to allow 100% of your actions to dictate 100% of your outcomes.

- If you give luck and risk their proper respect, you realize that when judging people’s financial success—both your own and others’—it’s never as good or as bad as it seems.
Some people are naturally kind because they were raised with love
dont think you're using them.

I've literally met people with that main character syndrome, where they feel whatever you do for them is basically a service like you fear them and always want to be around them.
Please be kind. don't be the reason someone didn't eat today, don't be the reason someone hates their body. don't be the reason why someone doesn't join in on a conversation. don't be the reason why someone hates themselves. trust me, it sticks with them forever.
Let me make your day more beautiful 😇
My reason for always watching Expendables yearly, especially part 2 are these guys.

A strengthened body makes a strengthened mind, even as you grow old, the spirit would still be ever so vibrant.

I get motivated every single time watching it.
The secret is to do a few things for a long time.

The challenge is...

1) You need to experiment and explore quite a bit to find the thing that is worth doubling down on. It may take a few years (or a decade) to find the project or relationship or cause that you want to commit to for a long time.

2) New things are always coming up. Once you find something you want to do for a long time, you need the courage and discipline to say no to the shiny, new opportunities. After years of exploring and experimenting, it can be hard to flip the switch and remain focused.

You have to be willing to explore widely enough to find your thing, then willing to focus narrowly enough to make it something great.
This morning has to be my best at this new gym today, i went alone and had less motivation, but that was when i knew i had to start breaking limits - Doing something my body won't expect.

Full chest and back workout was the plan... definitely outdid myself this time😆

Btw, i always kick off with warmups for arm and shoulder

6 sets of bench press (wide and close grip) (176lbs)

3 sets of 176lbs dumbbell press (wide and close)

5 sets of barbell rows(132-176lbs)

5 sets of Lat pulldowns(132lbs)

3 sets of straight arm pulldown(66lbs)

3 sets of seated cable rows(132lbs)

And my proudest moment today was going 330lbs deadlift

PS: i was screaming so i muted the video😅
The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one's negative experience is itself a positive experience.

In discovering yourself...

Compete externally and you compare. Compete internally and you improve.

Two is twice as good as one, but one is infinitely better than zero.

Do a few things for a long time.
