Told a student wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt that I saw them open for Yellowcard. She said to her friend, “I would have thrived in the early 2000s.”
There is light at the end of this tunnel, but damn it is dark in here.
Fuck godaddy, you had one job.
I don’t have much to say right this second, my brain is a little fried from back to school night and going back to teaching to full time and having a daughter who hates going to school.

Have things fallen through the cracks in the mean time? Yea, they have.

No, ur not rugged. No, I’m not done. No, I’m not giving up.

Do I need a lot of help doing small things since I’m not here full-time? Fuck yea, I do.

I’ve still got lots of things in the works from our content to UNDRGRND Sounds as well as our ongoing partnership with Highlight.

I just have a life outside of here too.

“In a world where technical skills can be automated or outsourced, the truly irreplaceable asset is the ability to bring people together, to create a shared sense of purpose, and to build a culture where everyone can do their best work.” - @aaronv.eth

For a franchise with such potential and incredible intellectual property, there hasn’t been a more disappointing string of movies than the Alien films.
This was the first real /undrgrnd tour I went to.

I used to have a live recording of the show I actually went to thanks to Napster.

I have to find that CD…

My most listened to band of the last 10 years. Saw them at a very small venue with 25-30 people.

A year later I saw them again at a larger venue with 250 people. After the show, I bought the lead singer a beer.

Just because it doesn’t sound punk doesn’t mean it’s not punk.

20 years ago I saw Coheed an Cambria play a side stage at Warped Tour with 50 people.

Next Tuesday I’m going to see them play in front of 30k people.

Everyone is /undrgrnd, until they’re not.

100% true but also all of the other reasons people leave.

No one prepared me for this level of attachment.

Saves the Day is the band I’ve seen live the most. They’re from New Jersey so considered local enough.

Chris (the lead singer and only original member left) was notorious for jumping into the crowd and fighting hardcore guys making fun of them.

Last time I saw them, he did it again, in his late thirties, because he saw someone holding a sign that said “you’re a cover band”.

I laughed…because it was true.

The lead singer went to a neighboring high school. I was at the first show they played to a larger crowd (1000+) at a Philly venue where he explained this song and phone playing the Trocadero was a dream come true.

THAT is the essence of /undrgrnd.

Went to a Blink-182 concert in ‘00 watched a band on the side stage I had started listening to and discovered on Napster.

After the concert they were just hanging out like regular guys with no one around and I went up and talked with them.

That band was Good Charolette.

Mosh pit at Thursday show my girlfriend at the time punched a dude in the back of the head because he was annoying.

He got in my face yelling to which I cowered and she said it was her. He walked away.

She went to the show again the next night, she had hit the venue manager who greets her at the ticket window.
Spend it. We'll send 150M GRND back.

Share art in /neversellout we'll send 1.75M GRND when you do.

Read our articles and get 500k GRND by unlocking it with the pass.

It's only way I can combat the farming the individual was attempting and I'll figure out another way going forward.
People like @erikx and other artists I work with are the only reason I continue to do what I do.
My daughter and I made up a song to this tune: “We built poop city with all your turds!”

You can give up, I’m winning Parent of the Year ‘24.

Bands like Joey and the Knives keep me up at night, literally. Feels like discovering something no one else knows.

First band for UNDRGRND SOUNDS 002 I think.
