The IRS changes requiring additional KYC are beyond frustrating. I don't want my name and address stored in your database because I know hackers will one day outsmart you and spill all this data to the black market where it will put everyone in danger. 😡

In general regulations stifle markets. But a few well-crafted regs around security are a good thing. This is one.

Many sports apps have proprietary follow mechanisms. Assuming FC didn’t charge $2 to create an account, and someone did some BD how many of these could we get it use Farcaster accounts.

I predict this will have zero impact on the Telegram user behavior. Most people don't know or don't care about privacy. The ones that do weren't using TG to begin with.
