We're shutting down the x-posting experiment.
For a few months, we've been testing a feature with a few users to cross posts their tweets from X to Farcaster.
We're shutting it down because we can't get it to work reliably with the current APIs, and when it fails it's really frustrating for users.

We're seeing a spike in unread messages on status.warpcast.com
The good news is that it doesn't seem to be impacting users. It appears that our hubs are sending our backend old messages that it's already seen for some unknown reason.

Chatting with Yup team, looks like it was an accident from their side.
We're hearing reports that Yup is posting messages to users accounts without their permission. It's likely an accident.
If you have previously connected Yup to Farcaster or Twitter, we recommend disconnecting it to be safe.
On mobile, go to Settings -> Advanced -> Connected Apps and delete Yup

We rolled out a new spam model that is very good at predictions.
Our previous models had a lot of "unknown" predictions - we didnt know if they were good or not, and couldn't give them access to things like boosts.
With the new model, many more users will become eligible for boosts, usdc rewards and trending!
