What are the most defining moments of your onchain career?
For me it's:
- Writing for the Defiant & Bankless during DeFi Summer
- Joining Audius to launch the AUDIO token
- Co-founding FWB with a bunch of amazing people
- Buying my first Punk for 1 ETH
- Being a Venture Partner at Variant
- Starting my own early-stage Fund
- Spinning up an onchain record label
Lots of other defining moments but these are the biggest that come to mind.
For me it's:

- Joining Audius to launch the AUDIO token
- Co-founding FWB with a bunch of amazing people
- Buying my first Punk for 1 ETH
- Being a Venture Partner at Variant
- Starting my own early-stage Fund
- Spinning up an onchain record label
Lots of other defining moments but these are the biggest that come to mind.
Today I'm reminded of why I'm proud to be building on @base
Joining a top memecoin space it's clear that while the trading culture is attractive - it lacks a certain level of professionalism and maturity that I've come to really value about Base.
Sure you might not got massive price volatility on a daily basis but it's clear Base is building for a 10+ year time horizon and it feels really great to be able to count and rely on that.
They've done it at a corporate level for close to a decade - only feels natural to bet on @jessepollak and crew to do it for the next one.
Stay based. Stay building.

Don't think I'll ever forget the DEGEN mania, tipping thousands of dollars a day and riding the L3 wave to a billy.
What's cool is that underneath all that euphoria was a grade A playbook on how to build a grassroots community from scratch.

Starting to realize that maybe the meme just needs to be good.
I've been so deeply rooted in thinking every project needs to have a clear product direction, team and roadmap and very clear owners to drive the ship forward.
While I still think those things are important its clear that price is actually the biggest driver of momentum and as long as price goes up, people will work their bags to expand the meme and keep the momentum going.

Feeling really really stoked about what's cooking at @cooprecs - have a very clear product vision for 2025 and an all-star team to help execute.
Getting deep in the trenches trading memecoins has given me a lot of new and fresh perspective on what's driving volume and where people are getting their alpha from.
I can clearly see a new generation of early 20s traders having a ton of fun - the exact same way I felt when I first got into the space out of college and more recently in 2021.
There's a grit and passion to it. A sense of pride for being early and feeling like you discovered it first and having onchain proof that you did.
These are a lot of the same feelings that were so attractive to me about crypto from day one. It's a very self-taught space and it's really up to you to make or break your portfolio from scratch.
I see a huge potential to bring this same feeling to music fans and curators.
