The biggest question I've been wondering is what "success" looks like for EVM + L2s this cycle in the absence of trying to be a dominant ecosystem for memecoins.
It's so clearly evident that retail is still addicted to speculation that it's hard to envision a world where an ETH consumer app breaks out in the next 12-24 months without really leaning into it.
Happy to be proven wrong here but the more this cycle progresses the more I feel like new markets around mainstream culture will win.
I think we are still another cycle away from any widespread level of "social" platforms catching on purely for connecting with one another and having a more portable social graph.
It's so clearly evident that retail is still addicted to speculation that it's hard to envision a world where an ETH consumer app breaks out in the next 12-24 months without really leaning into it.

Crazy how much a disconnect there still is between crypto and the rest of the world.
I still feel like I need to sugar coat the fact that I work in and am extremely passionate about crypto because it genuinely feels so foreign to most people.

Life actually gets significantly harder the further you get into your career.
I would imagine at some point it levels out and is basically smooth sailing/autopilot but in my personal experience feels like the deeper you get in the weeds the harder the game gets (and therefore the larger the reward).

Never fails to amaze me how much people in crypto love to point out all the reasons something in crypto won't work.
Feel like there's this general sense of self sabotage that very clearly indicates we're not ready for a major bull market yet.

Pretty wild that we're nearing the end of 2024 and the market hasn't agreed upon one standard or model for marrying NFTs and tokens.
