This year I built:

Founded Base Abuja. A community for Base Builders in the capital city of Nigeria. The reception was massive as we saw the community grow to over 100 followers on X within 3 weeks and over 100 members on WhatsApp within the first month.

Then we proceeded to hold the Base Abuja Meetup. A RL event that saw several builders within the city come together to interact, meet and spotlight some base projects including onboardglobal

This week I built:

Carried on with the Fitcember challenge organised by @afrochicks and the AC track club. I feel proud seeing my name on the leaderboard every day

I have now made 10 submissions therefore inspiring others to pick up exercising as a habit

I have also now been using the onchain product, @moshicam for 10 consecutive days. Helping to populate the platform with amazing workout pictures.

Lastly, I joined a workshop on Google meet to remind everyone present about the importance of staying fit.

This week I built:

Joined a 31 days fitcember challenge organised by @afrochicks and the AC track club.
I have participated in every challenge since I joined and uploaded images and videos.
The goal is not just to stay fit and healthy as Bases builders but to also inspire others to do the same.
The challenge has also introduced me to new Based products such as @moshicam with which I create and mint my fitness photos.
Lastly, I joined a workshop hosted by the Onchain Builders (Africa) where I introduced them to this fitcember challenge and the need to stay healthy as we build. Everyone in the meeting indicated interest in the challenge and I'm sure more people will join as we continue

I just came to know about Purple DAO. It’s fascinating. You can also take the quiz, learn about Purple DAO, and earn some ETH

This week I built:

I picked PodX as the product on Base to spotlight this week

Got on a call (held on PodX) with the founder, @folajindayo to better understand what the product is all about

Afterwards I wrote a script for a short video that'll be used to market PodX

Then I onboarded 3 members of the Base Abuja community to PodX.

This week I built:

Decided it was time to focus on spotlighting the amazing Based products that are out there.
I focused on @drakula for this week, creating and sharing videos and onboarding people to start using the video sharing application.
I onboarded 2 people and even bagged some tokens just to show the new users what they can buy.

This week I built

*Minted the baseabuja.base.eth name for the Base Abuja community. Now no one can take that name away from us

*Grew the Base Abuja X account to almost 80 followers

*Joined a TG community setup by Sir Damilare to start creating product/app review videos on @base

*Scheduled the Base Abuja WhatsApp community call and X space for Saturday and Sunday respectively

This week I built:

- I grew the Base Abuja X account from 9 followers to 52 followers.
- I used the Base Abuja X account to aggressively spread the word about the Base Abuja Meetup. At one point even Jesse Pollak got to see and like one of the tweets
- We had the Base Abuja Meetup. A resounding success. Over 30 people were in attendance. We made sure to properly onboard the newbies during one of the sessions.
- Every participant started using the Onboard wallet app that very day. This has increased the number of Onboard wallet users, no doubt.
- One of the things we agreed on during the Meetup is to make sure that Base won't just get the best products but also real users who will continue to use these products.

This week I built:

-We now have an X account for Base Abuja and we are working with members of the Base ecosystem in Abuja to make this the most vibrant community in Africa. Because why not?

-We had our first community call to get to know each other better as well as remind ourselves about the importance of bringing Base to those around us.

-In the spirit of making Abuja Based, we've finished preparations for the first Based Meetup in Abuja and sent out the registration link for the event. So far over 25 participants have registered

-Onboarded two of my neighbours to Base. Because charity begins at home right?

-Started using some Based products such as @onboard @webcusso Luma and Pawpular. Exciting to see the different solutions they provide and will be onboarding others to these platforms

This morning I got invited to Base-Builds by @rexmorrison

I feel really excited because I have been outside of this channel for weeks trying to get in.

Now I can regularly update everything I'm building (both solo and with my team).

This week I built;

-In order to continue building our project "Roomiesonbase", I onboarded a new frontend developer. We are making progress
-I joined a group to prepare and plan for the biggest Based Meetup in Abuja. It will happen on the 9th of November. More details soon.
-I adopted and started using two very amazing Based products @simpssocial and @onboard . I intend to make sure people around me also find the value in these products and start using them too.

This week I built alongside my team;

- We implemented the first few pages of our project
- Unfortunately, we're not able to submit the Roomiesonbase project for the just concluded Buildathon
- But our project is solid and the problem is something that affects several African students and we will solve it
- We are still building and once the product is ready, we'll bring it out for your feedback
- We intend to build more publicly going forward. This way the whole world can see what we're building

This week on @base I built:

-Finished setting up an X account for our project @roomiesonbase

-Got a domain name roomiesonbase.xyz for the project

-Prepared and sent a proper PRD to the Smart Contract developer to better align our ideas

-Consulted with the UI designer to finish the Figma file for our project

-Onboarded two new users to Base helping them learn more about Base

As a first time founder, I must confess that this is far from easy, but we will keep building.
