I’m at MIT this weekend doing an interactive performance technology hack-a-thon at MIT. The event is being live streamed on Vimeo.com/event/4579949

I’ve been out of pocket for a bit now assisting on the video design for a play way in the beautiful woods of upstate New York. I’ve come back from many years away from theatre, so this has been a great experience.
It’s a new play commission — The Light and The Dark by Kate Hamill. It’s about Artemisia Gentileschi — a bad ass female painter who fucked up the boys club of the Italian Renaissance. One of her paintings is below. It premieres here then has a run at the Roundabout in NYC in Sept (I think).
It’s not all my design but I’ve been saying technical dragons and have had some creative input (my favorite part).
I’m away from my family for almost two weeks for this but this helps me get connections for future projects.
