data indexing on /evm simplified

unlike traditional indexers, the @envio indexer is
- multi-chain. Deploy one indexer, get a unified view across all your evms
- turbocharged. Bypass the slow RPC. Turn hours or days into a few minutes
- flexible. Choose between javascript or typescript as your weapon
Guess the multi-chain indexer.

Tip: Liquidity Layer for OP, Base, and more chains part of /thesuperchain
From ~2000 smart contract events a few weeks ago to ~120,000 events now.

Prediction Market with daily markets on /base that's just surpassed $50 million trading volume.

While it happened quite organically, @envio finds itself grateful to be in the centre of supporting killer apps & providing mission-critical data infra & tooling for the /op-stack and an interoperable Superchain.

Without users apps are nothing, without apps we are nothing. But also, with us, apps are better equipped for users. With us, apps can focus more on their users.
okay wen higher-athletics merch or did i miss smthn?? been seeing bits and bobs, but this gives me satisfy running vibes and i'm so in
Thanks for the @receipts . Keep the change ✍🏻
Super based how docs.brid.gg (a bridge for the superchain) is querying all their cross-chain data covering these /thesuperchain op-stack networks (pictured) with a single API.

Ethereum, OP Mainnet, Base, Redstone, Mode, Zora, Fraxtal, Lisk & more.

See the indexer in action:

Found the basenames contract addy & pasted into chaindensity.xyz to see transaction activity (pictured).

Took 1 sec on cold start to fetch all data across ~ 1 million blocks

Aligns w current 4,807 tx's on basescan.

Building HyperSync on Base (and OP superchain) to unlock next-gen apps.

Optimizations this week:
- 11,343 ERC20 transfers on /base ...in the last 2 minutes 🤯 600,000,000+ token transfers since genesis.
- A single 0.8-second query scans the entire base chain (18.8m blocks) and returns all txs `to` and `from` the requested address. An easy 1,000x speed up to RPC.

Now plug that into your data indexer, or @envio multi-chain indexer = a web3 devs success story.

Pretty cool how docs.brid.gg ( A Bridge for the Superchain) is able to query all their cross-chain data covering these /op-stack superchain networks (pictured) with a unified API. Almost to be 11 million events. Based.

@envio devs are deep in the coding trenches.

This is my opening line for the next blog I’m working on
Let's inspect the USDT contract on Arbitrum...🥁 🥁
A whopping 128.5 million events!!

Scanned all 245m blocks & fetched all events in 110 seconds.
That's 2.2 million blocks per second.

Know a contract address on Arbitrum with more events? 👀
You can try it out any contract address at https://chaindensity.xyz
hello world! I'm new here 👋
Which contract address has emitted the most events (evm chains)??

Okay, I'll start.

USDT on ethereum (hold my beer...)

266,968,558 events 🤯

Scanned through 20592977 blocks in under 300 seconds.

Try it on http://chaindensity.xyz for any contract and see if you can break it
If there's a new EVM chain, @envio's indexing is plug-and-play using RPC (i.e. any EVM is supported)—no waiting bs to be a partner.

Hypersync can then be added to the EVM as a more performant data source alternative to RPC for the heavy weights - significantly boosting dev lifecycles and apps.
