I call this the first 'Routescan Extension'.
We were working on this for a bit more than a year. At first, it was called 'Dapp Highlight', because it was supposed to give more relevance to dapps on the explorer.
But then, over time, we found out we couldn't really sell that, bc there was little to no interest.
Then, 3 months ago, we pivoted and started researching how to use a different version of Dapp Highlight as a counter-weight for partner dapps on the Superchain.
'we give you something you want, we get traffic from your dapp'. We wanted traffic for http://thesuperscan.io to have more impact on the ecosystem, so that we could get more Retro Funding in the future.
And the guys at Velodrome/ AerodromeFi were the first in the list and answered positively from the start.
We hope to build many of these Extensions for specific dapps in the future, to drive more traffic towards routescan explorers and keep doing what we do best - breaking the monopoly.
