Finally making good progress on this brioche piece. Just wasn't happy with the repeating design on each side so pulled this back several times. Now feeling content πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ
It's been a while since I've used Brioche Knitting so feels kind of exciting creating with this technique again 🀩
Technical drawing. Fibre art πŸ™‚
Cute sun hat ready for the summer 🌞
Swatching, swatching, swatching!! All part of the creative process πŸ™‚
Got that Spring feeling today. Great to be outdoors. The towpaths where we live are fab for running. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

A few years ago I took a leap to turn my passion into a business. Face-to-face interactions are always positive but gaining traction in the digital world is tough. Got to keep pushing forward 🌐.
Adding stripes! Definitely in need of a cut and scarify before the moss takes hold🌱
Finished my short row brioche crochet beanie. That's a mouthful to say!! Really pleased how it turned out. I've named this one Aspen 🧢
Gauge swatching for 3 projects today. A necessary evil 😞.
Having fun with Brioche Knitting and syncopated ribs! 🧢
Trying out some new short row Brioche Crochet ripple textures 🧢
Organic cotton gloves finished and ready to wear! Used a 3x1 rib and simply slipped the centre knit stitch on alternate rows. Created a subtle decorative pattern 🧢
Standing stitches are a great way to start a new colour row. Just add a slip knot or loop to your hook, hold with your finger while you crochet the stitch as normal. No need for slip stitch joins or chains 🧢. Neat and tidy!
Ready to assemble this little guy πŸ‡
What to do with a giant granny square? Turn it into a t-shirt! Making good progress with this today. 🧢
Brioche crochet headband perfect for Spring πŸ’

The brioche crochet technique creates a stretchy ribbed fabric that resembles the popular brioche knitting 🧢
