There's enough growth in my chives and oregano that I feel good to start doing regular harvests now, these will be going on a pizza (dough is in prep) 🍕
Balcony tomato doing well. This is a currant tomato, very productive for small spaces. It's still too cold to plant tomatoes in the garden beds, the balcony microclimate is much warmer.
first peonies are blooming! my little plant on its third season - last year had 3 flowers total. but this year there are a lot of buds! can’t wait for all of them to bloom
Hi! It's been a while since I've posted anything in here. Just wanted to show you guys that my wisteria was thriving this year! So many flowers💜
Another round of wood chips. The fungus is among us.
Will soft these over the next few days with a 1/4 grid sifter.
Let the rest compost down over the next year or so.

We haven’t planted our beds yet but we got them ready.
Finished weeding and adding compost.
Said hello to 3 plants that seeded themselves:
Cilantro - yay! Can never have enough, especially when it bolts so soon.
Arugula- yay! Can never get sick of it.
Chamomile - oy?! Why did I even plant it last year?

Day 2 streak:
Need help, are there any alternatives to not having to stick a bamboo rod into the ground and tying it to my snapdragon? This is what my neighbor does, I don’t mind my Peonies but these snapdragons may have to go after this season..

Was at the /allotment a few days ago, and it's great to see the fruit trees developing nicely!
Pears (left) and apricots are heavily laden and forming well this season.

Gm 🍓 a lesson in going with natures flow.
Last year, we dug up and moved all of our strawberries out of this bed and planted 13 new blueberries and two new grapes here.
The strawberries had a different plan and came back this spring bigger than ever. Now we have two strawberry beds, and the new blueberry bed is weed free thanks to the very determined strawberry ground cover.

Definitely investing in this. For the greenhouse as well. Then maybe a seasonal pond to feed. (Where I live) I can build these cheaper than the soil i buy and water I use. Roots and Brussels can still be grown in the beds outside.
Day 1 of my streak:
Hi frens, wanted to start a streak on a non-crypto topic and decided to start my journey in gardening!
I live in a condo (2 unit) and my neighbor who has been tending our garden is moving back to London.
A mix of anxiety and excitement, because it’s a beautiful garden that he cared for daily.

The cement crack cilantro saga: How it started & how it’s ending-
I did not offer it water or food, and even took a few harvests from it. Flowering for the bees now, which will turn to seed (coriander).

Every time I replant things, I feel like it's never going to grow well.
Then it does.
What's up with that?

Seeing froth in my compost extract always makes me happy.

Making progress, bark looks good (see corner of photo) but it’s a lot of work…trying to get through the rest of the pile today.
I was LITERALLY going to give up on these grasses and pull them out today

There is something so soothing about sitting underneath the Japanese Maple on my property. Very therapeutic!
This year i did everything from seeds. Upgraded my home grow set up and learned some lessons from last year.
And the weather is finally starting to turn in Colorado. Most exciting time of year.

Throwback to this garden project I did for somebody.
The guy has a decent size of land and asked for my help to get a garden growing.
Apparently, powerful winds came and destroyed all my hard work (and my investment of time + money):/
I rebuilt the hoop house...fully covered it in poly film, made sure it was staked down with about 50 stakes.
When I came back the next week, same thing...Green house was in a pile on the ground about 20 feet from the garden. This time, several of the PVC joints were snapped.
Weird, that I found stakes still in the ground in the garden.
If the wind picked it up, it would have pulled out the stakes, right?
After the second time...I left and never went back.
Somebody was sabotaging the project.
Pro Tip: Never spend $$$ on any project that:
1) You cannot fully control
2) You are not fairly compensated for
3) Cannot attend to daily
