I’ll probably never go to space but that’s fine because scuba is enough of a weightless and out of this world exploration experience for me

Just got my SSI Open Water certification today 🤘

Any spot in Europe that would be highly recommended?
Today with my best dive buddy, the mother of my son, my dear love we went celabrating our anniversary on the same dive boat we met 9 years ago. That was fun although we missed the humpback whale during deco stop that went say hi to another group.
gm divers :) any other freedivers around?
Some of my (crypto) positions may be underwater, but I can still appreciate underwater positions irl.

Video taken on a dive at Isla del Carmen off Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico 🇲🇽
Here’s a picture of me diving the Silfra in Iceland.

Iydk, the Silfra is a fissure between the North American and Australasian tectonic plates. The water is from a glacier and is 1°C. It is considered some of (if not the) clearest water in the world.
Great short primer on Total Liquid Ventilation (TLV), otherwise known as liquid breathing technology and how it could be used in deep-sea diving.

Diving is meditation. Can’t wait to go back under.
If you are on the fence about learning to dive but perhaps fearful about being underwater, or are generally curious about the hobby/sport, feel free to ask questions in this channel! As a PADI instructor and AIDA freediver, I'll be happy to help

Reunion Island underwater is so much fun.
Last video of the diving channel launch series! 🐠

Where I talk about the extreme spatial asymmetry in horizontal vs vertical distances on Earth, and why diving “just” 300m (1,000ft) under water is about as challenging as being on the Moon 🌖
The study in question: https://doi.org/10.1097/00000542-197506000-00003

Its hilarious conclusion: “The 'nitrogen blanket' effect is a real phenomenon, and human history has proceeded under partial narcosis. Perhaps this explains the current state of world affairs”
We do a little diving today
Hi guys. I am a scuba and freediving instructor and here to talk any underwater related topics.

Any better places than underwater? Space? No. 🐙
