I just claimed the first few days of creator rewards for $BETR in the @clanker interface (smooth as butter process btw, nicely done @dish and co.)
As promised, we have taken the full claimed amount of 385M $BETR and sent it straight to our prize vault to be distributed to users in an upcoming game of @betrmint.
We also took half of the ETH rewards earned (0.25 ETH), and used it to buy back more $BETR on the open market.
Reminder that the team (me and @netnose) didn’t take any token allocations at launch, and we have not sold any tokens.
This is literally day one and we are hoping to build something long-lasting here… because onchain creators deserve BETR. 🫡

Introducing precoin.fun — a premarket for creator memecoins.
Excited to launch our latest Farcaster mini app on Base!
@precoin lets anyone mint a "precoin" — a tradable ERC-20 memecoin representing early belief in a creator's potential to launch a real coin. A permissionless speculation market on social clout.
Each precoin has its own liquidity pool and trades freely.
If the creator later launches (e.g. on clanker), the ETH from the precoin pool buys the official coin onchain — and users can burn their precoin to claim the real coin.
Anyone can scout and launch a precoin for any caster.
Scouting = being the first $1000+ ETH into the LP. Scouts earn 10% of all trading fees on that precoin which can be burned to claim real coin if creator launches one.
We’re testing 5 casters today: @ace @horsefacts.eth, @proxystudio.eth @igoryuzo.eth and will be expanding to every Farcaster user soon.

1. not having a job and not having a lot of money AND / OR dreaming of being able to support my family more
clanker is a practical project, we care a lot about helping creators today (not in some hypothetical future). we want to go big, scale, grow the space, but legit clanker would not have had a week 2 if clanker didn’t have such a big week 1. Jack would have needed to go find a job, and I’d be plugging away at doing the same exact thing as before, solo. probably vibe coding. find a dev, find an ideas guy, cook.
2. I’m obsessed with the long term project of bringing crypto out into the world in a way I am proud of, and that the world finds engaging
I think to get people to care more about coins we will have to make better coins, to tell better stories about the coins we have, and to help teams level up

prior to clanker, I’d had a bad experience building out a shitty product, product failed, it killed momentum, market sucked and I was sad

Some updates today
We removed guardrails off clanker . world meaning you can set your own market caps/quote tokens/whatever you want and they’ll show up (with warnings in some cases)
I’ve updated the clanker-SDK to support both deploying tokens via script or preparing deployment data for things like miniapps/etc
And I’ve made a mini app using minikit to show this all off!
Creator+interface rewards are all set to the connected wallet so 80% of the pool fee rewards will go to you if you clank thru the frame

This is a web app and mini app that allows anyone to convert any meme to coins for free and earn 80% swap fees from the clanker protocol.
Then, what does the interface get?
The interface only collects fees from clanked tokens so deployers/token creators must hold at least 0.01% of the clanked supply.
There is no wallet connection because everything uses farcaster directly.
