Hypotheses about EVM and Social Fi that might be useful

Hey friends, only 3 days left until the @scrollzkp snapshot. Airdrops are always a bit of a lottery, but I think it wouldn’t hurt to have at least 8 badges, $200 in your balance, and 300 points in Sessions. How's your progress in this project? Are you also scrambling to finish everything you didn’t get done in 2024 like me? 😁
What should I do with the @puffer-finance airdrop? Usually, I just sell airdrops right away. But in this case, I see a promising project that’s starting with a low valuation, which is rare in our market.

My target for the token is $3, since the project will be integrated with Justin Drake's team's work on based rollups.

I'm also keeping an eye on Espresso and Agglayer in this space.
He’s back! Thanks for the ideas about @swellnetworkio & @puffer-finance. I got great airdrops from them. See you at the @bankless summit in BKK!
In my weekly podcast in Russian, I talked about the main way to make money in the next 5-10 years:

Changes in channels are leading us in a completely different direction – towards the development of communities.

At the heart of your community is a customizable feed, because this isn’t about a TikTok-style feed, but rather about years of hard work building strong, lasting connections.

Your best tool for this will be the customizable feed client @recaster-fc by @haole:
It's great to get your feedback on the podcast. Just a reminder, every week I host a podcast in Russian about the latest news from my Farcaster feed. It usually runs for about an hour and includes lots of philosophical insights and stories from my life.
Big thanks to @haole for making a personal feed for me with the 150 most important for me people on Farcaster. You can send him FIDs, and then use the @recaster-fc client to get your own personalized feed of favorite people.
Most likely, no one will read your messages if you're casting them to a channel that hasn't approved you, or writing to someone who isn't following you.

So, you should focus on two things:

1. Only send messages and react to people who are following you.
2. Create interesting content that makes your followers quote your casts, helping you gain new organic followers.

I've gathered 300 of my active and interesting followers that I'll be interacting with. I've organized them by priority, divided into 10 groups, and sent them to myself in direct messages.

The rules of the game have changed, so make sure to adapt your own cozy corners.
Thoughts on the current situation:

1. In October-November, a lot of well-known projects are going to launch, because no one is going to mess with crypto before the elections. After that, they'll probably bring in widespread mandatory KYC for all sales, airdrops, and maybe even for DEX web interfaces as a measure against terrorists and scammers.

So, we might see a bunch of airdrops coming soon from Scroll, Zora, Li.Fi, Swell, etc.

2. Tipping with Degen and Enjoy is a pain to use, Moxie is also a hassle, but it's basically a salary for using SocialFi. Those ignoring it now might regret it later when they miss out on some random $50k airdrop from Base or Zora.

What are your expectations for this fall?
Why did I become so interested in luck?

I started seeing patterns in everything happening around me, rather than just luck.

For example, this year, I made $16k in six months from $700 on my main public wallet (anatcrypto.eth), mostly thanks to Farcaster. Is that luck? Yes. Random? I don’t think so.
The past two weeks I’ve pretty much dropped out of Farcaster because I’ve had a lot going on IRL—helping my kids with the new school year and taking care of my elderly grandmother, who unfortunately is still in the hospital, and her condition is worrying.

In this kind of situation, it’s hard to focus on creative work, so I’ve been distracting myself with my old tasks—organizing my various wallets, getting ready for the Eigenlayer trading launch, and finishing up Scroll activities while playing around a bit with Espresso.

I enjoy doing mechanical tasks when I’m not in the mood for mental work. Though, I think after the launch of Eigenlayer and Scroll, we won’t see any big airdrops anymore, except maybe from Base.

Are you doing something for the new airdrops outside of Farcaster?
During the last Devconnect, I had an informal chat with the lead researcher of a well-known zk-rollup. I asked him how we should deal with the risks of hacks and bugs in L2s—are we really stuck relying on multisigs and trusting the social capital of the founders?

He replied that we should aim for what immutable protocols like Uniswap v2 represent.

But won’t that kill innovation?

In the crypto market, it's crucial to remember to fix in your trading profits and take them out of the market. A good asset for this is USDC. It's important to learn how to hold these assets for the short term (up to 1 year) and resist the urge to spend them on new altcoins. Still all in on @wake.eth
What I’ve learned over the past months from this cast:

1. Airdrop strategy: If you believe in the tokenomics of an altcoin, exit within a month at most. If you don’t believe in it, sell everything right away. For example, with Starknet and zkSync, I opted for the first approach. For projects like Onchain Gaias or Degen, I took the second approach. This is more or less what I did.

2. Exit Strategy: The plan is to split proceeds 50/50 between ETH and RWA (temporarily holding in USDC). Then move the USDC into RWA. I made the mistake of having 100% in ETH, without holding any USDC. When I moved into RWA, I was selling ETH, which was a mistake. I should’ve sold from USDC/DAI instead, to avoid being tied to ETH and its volatility when transitioning to RWA. RWA here refers to real estate, stocks, and other assets.

3. ETH Strategy: The plan is to sell half at $4k into USDC, and move then into RWA over the year. At $8k, do the same. If ETH drops 2-3 times from its ATH, reverse the strategy.
Since the Moxie token dropped by half in a week, I locked in profits from my trades and left only the unvested tokens. The market is now offering a good buying opportunity since the supply has dropped by 20-80%.

But I can’t buy back in because I’ve already cashed out most of it. If I were you, I’d calculate the payback on my former portfolio and buy some tokens, but don't buy more than 20% of the current supply. My portfolio is in the photo.

It doesn't matter how you look, where you live, or whether you have a bank card. The internet is for everyone. Onchain will remove the middlemen between consumers and creators. That's why we're here. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify need to be reformed or become permissionless.

What’s revolutionary about @moxie.eth by @betashop.eth?

50% of the Influencer's revenue goes to the author of the cast, 20% to channel token holders, 20% to author token holders, and 10% to FC Network token holders.

To share the revenue with the author, you can gain control over their tokens, channel tokens, or FN tokens.

For this, you need the MOXIE token, and unvested tokens from the recent airdrop will work too.

You participate in an auction hosted by the well-known /airstack, evaluating how profitable the author’s or channel’s casts are using the P/E ratio (check my frame).

Bid 2-3 times higher than the clearing price and check again before the auction ends. If the profitability ratio is high, consider bidding even more to account for speculative demand.

According to the tokenomics, only 15% of the tokens (1.5b = $15 million) are allocated for rewards, with 3 mln moxie distributed daily. At this rate, rewards will last for 18 months.

Whose token should I choose? Answer in the frame

Forget about the 70 autofollow list. Now, you need to post engaging content😏

@links (NFA😀): Toxic X Engagement tactic: Post a seemingly well-meaning but provocative question. When people respond in good faith, hit back with extremely specific questions that challenge their lack of nuance.
