I come from the humblest beginnings in Honduras, born into the lowest socio-economic class. I grew up sleeping on the floor, never knowing the comfort of a bed until I was in my twenties.

There were times when I had no place to call home, finding shelter in parks or on the couches of friends and fellow church members, all while trying to finish high school. Those years were filled with uncertainty, but they taught me resilience and the value of unwavering determination.

My greatest ambition is to inspire people across Latin America to believe in their power to create upward mobility—through relentless hard work, choosing integrity over ease, and embracing the challenges that come with doing what’s right. I firmly believe the onchain economy is the most transformative opportunity for those willing to put in the effort. It’s a chance to rewrite narratives, to rise beyond circumstances, and to build futures once thought impossible.
Inviting @markpascall - met at @edgecity , working on a really cool prop. Willet him share.
Ayayay... @edgecity outbid again. This would be the second pop up village with a Noun. 👀
I believe that because I'm committed to doing my part to make this happen.
This is one of the most effective regional teams in the eth ecosystem. We're lucky they're nounish.

Vote yes.
Quick update on Prop 620:

My north star for value creation is attracting builders, bidders and governance participants.

We're starting to see meaningful governance participation from builders at pop up villages and the pop ups themselves. I felt like I was failing miserably at this, but that's turning around.

We've seen a few residents show up to nouncil calls to pitch their candidates, provide feedback to props, and Edge City has even bid on a noun. They we're edged out by .05 on yesterday's bid, they're coming back to bid until they one!

I decided to YOLO to Crecimento in Buenos Aires because it seemed like a missed opportunity if I didn't. This wasn't in the SOW, but we roll with it. I will also be including a visit to Vitalia in Honduras and potentially another pop up in Brazil.

@motherlizard 's prop attracted one noun sponsor already!

Structural inequality and alienation have led to learned helplessness in many builders who believed ethereum was their opportunity to build their way out. Unfortunately, most people don't have the grit to double and triple down on their goals and beliefs when faced with this type of adversity.

This is one of the areas where Ethereans' virtue signaling is detrimental to ecosystem growth. We keep promising
that "this time it's different" but continue implementing the same societal structures that keep outcasting people from historically marginalized groups.

This isn't some woke cry for equality - it's a request to be more realistic about how we communicate our values and a reminder to keep your word.

We need to work on retaining value creators and uplifting them instead of cherry-picking low roi people and teams based on affinity bias. This is why (I believe) we've created a griftocracy instead of nurturing meritocracy.
If you're an onchain community builder, you should aim to empower your community members to take over your role.

To keep your role, you need to be so entrenched in the industry that you're able to identify emerging narratives and quickly integrate your community to create meaningful impact there.
Listening to @vitalik.eth and @juanbennett discuss network states, pop ups, local crypto solutions and more.

Makes me so bullish on humanity
Marketers are upset because they see low roi regional teams get millions in funding (like EthLatAm). They also feel entitled to this frivolous spending for low roi virtue signaling, I mean marketing efforts that don't produce tangible results.

Makes sense they feel that way.
Impact market > vibe market

How to stagnate your ecosystem and plummet native builder morale: impose unaligned mercenary overlords as intermediaries to your native builders.

How to accelerate growth: uplift native builders with a track record of value creation in your ecosystem. It's crucial they know no one is indispensable, and their position is always up for grabs by other builders stepping up to create value. There's no room for squatting here.
L2 builders in LatAm after their ecosystem is captured by variants of the Kipu virus.
mission & values aligned builders > mercenaries
It's not a free ride. Onchain is the new land of opportunity. Those willing to work their ass off create upward mobility for themselves.

Similarly, immigrating from an emerging economy to the US doesn't guarantee a better life. You have to put in the time and effort to create opportunities for yourself and those aeound you.
Don't celebrate early. Don't poke the bear.

Celebrating early leads creates complacency. Tracking performance and understanding the competitive landscape is important, but don't let it distract you.

Celebrating early also motivates the competition. You want to suffocate their fire, not fuel it.

Maintain focus, discipline, intensity, and enthusiasm.
