Open app > check time since last open > auto refresh if longer than X so I don't have to pull down to get the newest goss please and thank you

(I feel like it used to do this but last week has felt like top of feed is always 14hrs old)

Shit someone post this in /warpcast for me
From the opening line to the in depth descriptions this thread is nerdgasm hall of fame material

Not open source per se but still nice!

A /skininthegame frame that you can post when you buy into something with conviction, that confirms address and transaction and can be followed by others, with optional notification layer for sales
I want to keep seeing what you are building!

Reply here if you want to keep posting in /makerspace once new channel rules drop, and I'll add you as a member!

Then shill me automated ways to handle this because I want anyone to be able to post regardless of membership - makers don't need no gates!
Shot a quick video for Google Labs on my Multimodal Embeddings demos with my friend Khyati 🤓

Open sourced most of it on our new github.com/googlecreativelab/gemini-demos repo that I hope we keep adding to 🤌🏽

This is the WORST timeline.
rarely pay attention to web3 @ google but this seems like a pretty big deal

100 req/s up to 1M per day, for free tier

Sure, building is fun, but have you ever *finished*?

(This applies to coding as well)

Rubio Monocoat Pure + walnut is the BEST 😻
saved Oscar and Otto for my last 'boosted' cast 😻
sat next to some younger folks at a bar in lisbon, part of a larger travel group, and a girl said something that stuck with me:

"of course its more fun to travel with the group"

younger me definitely remembers that feeling, but im so so very happy to have married the person that i enjoy traveling with the most
i unironically love this. stoked LL is back and having fun!

finally almost at the finish line 🏁

walnut media console for my parents, and not a SINGLE corner, edge, or board is perfectly square 🫠 😅

massive learning project, can't wait for the next piece
The best thing I ate in Spain was actually the very first thing we ate in Málaga, stopping in a tapas bar for lunch.

Fideuà, a paella-like fish and noodle (not rice!) stew, with a side of garlicky snails. I tried to find more Fideuà every day for the rest of the trip unsuccessfully :(
Sort of similar to Illuminate (another Labs.google project), NotebookLM just added podcast-like summary creation from any documents you upload as well, and its pretty awesome.

I've been a generalist for almost 20 years now, and while 'context switching' *languages* was exciting, it was also exhausting.

Gemini and Claude have absolutely changed the game for me, as now the time wasted remembering/googling std lib's for python/c++ after writing JS for 6 months is practically zero.

Start local, call people, donate to orgs.

I phone banked in 2021 and it cost me nothing but time.

Check out https://rankthevote.us/ if your interested in really breaking up the two party system and having more fair elections in the US.
