I prep these lactation smoothies every week in baggies and put them in the freezer
(Coconut water, banana, cup of oats, 1T brewers yeast, 1T collagen powder, 1T ground flax seed, 1T almond butter, then whatever I have laying around: 1 or 2 handfuls of greens, blackberries, pineapple chunks, apples, mango…)

Taken a few days ago, one week postpartum:
Oxytocin hitting. Newborn baby smells. Waking every couple hours (or less) to nurse. Discovering new things about me and him. A mama is reborn with every birth. I plan to share more here.

Hi gals! I am home! With the sweetest little baby. They discharged us on Monday and I am still recovering but starting to feel much better.

Hey gals - sorry I haven’t been around. Unfortunately, my recovery hasn’t been that great. Just finished my second blood transfusion, and really hoping I’ll get to go home tomorrow!
Good news: baby is doing well and is such a joy!!!
Side note: Just a couple days of inactivity and my allowance is down to 98. 😭

We did it! Happiest day of my life. Thank you all for sharing in my late pregnancy journey. What an awesome new group of friends I have found. I may be a bit quieter than usual the next couple of days. Love to all of you!!
