Got a convincing email pretending to be from @ledgerofficial, describing a feature I wish was real: Clearer explanations of what is being signed.
This feature DOES NOT EXIST.
I didn't click through, but I assume the site tries to install malware or compromised Ledger firmware.
Do not fall for it!
Proud to be on team human today.
Christine Lagarde on the 2% inflation target.
Saying the quiet part out loud.
Watched the @ethereumfilm.
Very high production value! Need more of this.
A great job showing Ethereum's & Vitalik's evolution over the years.
Not so good at explaining the benefits of the tech, but that may not be feasible until more visible use-cases actually exist.

Also, proud to have made it to the movie credits!
Nic's reporting failing to make it to the press has real The Big Short vibes, except it's the US government conspiring instead of the big banks.
The media is protecting the establishment all the same.

Being able to iterate on channels like this is a good reason for them not being a formal part of the protocol yet.
Pardon my french, but what the F*CK
This could be a cool way to bootstrap a web-of-trust, or fortify existing ones.
If you want to cast something, forget it

This is a great idea. Embedded wallets fragment the ecosystem, yet provide (locally) superior UX.
This proposal is a good middle ground: Standardize the way per-app keys are generated, then let each app control its unique private key to avoid signing confirmation popups.
40% of open-source crypto devs have left the industry in the last 7 months.

Yet Farcaster ecosystem development doesn't seem to be slowing down.

What explains this difference?
Lots of new artists onboarded to Farcaster!
Bluesky is currently seeing a large influx of Brazilian users.

What's the best explanation for why Farcaster isn't seeing a proportional influx?
Precipitating the cypherpunkification of the internet.
How can we prove whether the tweets in this screenshot are real?

This is the question asked by @kripcat.eth, which I answer in this thread.
Might be interesting reading for /zk.

My one wish for crypto is that people wake the fvck up and realize that
𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥.

Can't have censorship resistance without it.
While casts are being boosted, might as well use it for a good cause.

The US vs Storm trial is critical to onchain privacy in the US.
It is still short of funding by $2M USD.

If you care about crypto, privacy, or even just about the freedom for developers to code, please donate.

Today I learned that TLSNotary / zkTLS is a 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑-era idea.
It took a decade but we're getting there!

In the words of @sinu, "everything was already invented 10 years ago on the bitcointalk forum".
