What you resist, will always persist.
This app in a way reminds me of Orkut back in the day. I made some pretty meaningful friendships from around the world and I'm still connected with them til today.
Appreciation 10/15/24:

1. It's Degen Day! 🎩

2. Wrapping up 5 days off from work, feeling rested and grateful to return back to doing work I love.

3. Cumin seeds. It's probably my favorite spice to cook with, next to turmeric.
I first read this book a little over 10 years ago. It was both inspiring and planted a seed in me that would eventually lead me to the path of kriya yoga and meditation today. Today I'm picking it up to read for the second time. I'm curious to see how my understanding has changed.
Appreciation 10/12/24:

1. Crisp fall days, cozying up with a good book and listening to podcasts.

2. Baby nieces who remind me that seasons of love are always there.

3. Time to spend in solitude and reflection.
It's refreshing to see an actual debate where candidates respectfully defend their points while maintaining civility with each other. I hope we can return to more of these in general.
Breathtakingly beautiful work by @kbphoto
Appreciation 9/28/24

1. A daily meditation practice that keeps me calm, centered, and productive 🧘

2. WhatsApp video call with one of my best friends who lives in Germany. Grateful for technology that keeps us meaningfully connected continents away.

3. Fall 🍂🍁. It's a time of year to slow down, let go of what's not serving me, and make room for possibilities 🙏

Good afternoon, Minneapolis! It's a good day to touch some grass.
Gonna make idlis and chutney again for the second weekend in a row. I think I may have an idli obsession.
Years have passed since this song was released and yet so much still feels the same.

By serving others, we get served.
I just watched this beautiful interview and discussion on happiness. I resonate with so much of what the author said. I'm adding his book on my to-read list.

We are what we repeatedly do.
This may have been asked already but just in case it hasn't, I'm wondering if there's a way to add another feature at the top of the app (screenshot below), that includes an option to create a "fav users" circle/list where I can go to every time I log in? I miss a lot of important casts on my feed otherwise. Ty 🙏
Time management is really self management.
The only apple product I own is a 3rd generation iPod nano in turquoise color. It was a gift given to me and it still works til today.

I wholeheartedly agree 🙏
I initially thought this book was about business (my manager sent me this book to read) but really pleasantly surprised to see the author hits this theme repeatedly on a personal level throughout the book.

Integrity matters in all spheres of life. Personally, if someone's words don't match their actions, it erodes my trust in them.
