Azuki bought anime .com, reminds me of when sushiswap bought sushi .com
If you secured a blockchain by GPUs wasting AI tokens would it called proof of work or proof of stake?
I went for a bike ride this afternoon and the clouds were beautiful, so I snapped a pic with this stamp store in the foreground. People would traditionally have stamps with their family name that they would use for official documents. These are mostly no longer used, but my dad had to get a stamp made when creating a bank account in Japan last year. We still have a long way to go in bringing the world onchain.

I’m lucky to have gotten to come to Japan every year, but it’s always bittersweet when it’s time to leave as I will be in a few days. https://zora.co/collect/zora:0xfe04561a0e6131102353d55b7273af3efa8018de/4?referrer=0x120231375b8904cb038f268668ec0334f7d9ca81
In all the debates on blockchain design I listen to, the topics of sovereignty and decentralization of governance rarely come up, I think we should be talking about them more.
Memecoins will go mainstream when the “coin” aspect fades into the background. It should be as simple to send a memecoin as using a sticker in a text/groupchat or using an emote in a game. Dexes should should be an automated background system, not the main method of interaction.
Best podcast episode I’ve listened to recently. Really important to be thinking about how you will be using AI agents in your personal life and at your business. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/invest-like-the-best-with-patrick-oshaughnessy/id1154105909?i=1000668134453
Some people check the weather way too much. Most of the time you can still do what you were planning on even if it rains a little.

Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, gave a presentation at webx in Tokyo, saying very little of substance just typical talking points. My intuition is that he’s just a front man, CZ is still in charge (CZ is the chairman of the board).
岸田首相がたった今WebXでWeb3コミュニティに向けて演説を行いました。

The Prime Minister of Japan, Kishida just addressed the web3 community at WebX.
Made a new Twitter acct and logged in out of curiosity of what it’s become like under new management. I wasn’t surprised the abundance of extreme political content, but I was not prepared for how much gory and otherwise disturbing content there is. Videos of people graphically being killed seems to be common. This is what’s promoted on “for you” on a fresh account.

People say “Let him cook” as a good thing, but it’s bad when things are cooked. What does that say about us? https://warpcast.com/bankless/0x13b6dff5
Vitalik posted on his blog today, comparing two "Museums of the Future", one in Dubai, and one in Tokyo. I was near the one in Tokyo, so I stopped by. I wanted to share my take on this museum, and why I think it is designed the way it is.

Cute cat perched on a wall at the entrance to a temple. Maybe he’s its guardian spirit. Tokyo

I went to the exhibition for CLAMP, a manga artist group at the National Art Center of Tokyo in Roppongi.
今日は根津神社行ってきました。
Nezu Shrine, Tokyo
Cities are so much more fun when there are exciting shrines/temples/gardens to explore. In Tokyo there are easily thousands.

4 stories of homage to cafe culture. Worth visiting if you like coffee and are nearby.
It doesn’t feel right to me that we’ll seemingly never have a swastika emoji on account of trolls.
