In May of 2010, I met up some friends in Vegas to have a bit of fun gambling. When we landed on a Friday, we checked out MGM Grand & Mandalay Bay, on one of the far ends of the strip. Crazily, we ran into a UFC rep handing out tickets to an expo going on, to a weigh-in that afternoon & to the event itself, the next day (UFC 114). When walking through ballroom, I noticed the legend Anderson Silva standing by a booth. I asked my friend to take a pic & kind of improvised. Anderson was extremely cool & played along. Luckily, he didn’t knock me out lol. The next day, I got to enjoy the main event, Evans vs Rampage Jackson. Pretty epic weekend & some lifelong memories. If you ever get a chance to go to a boxing or mma event in Vegas, do it!

the spacening
when I was young, I would love visiting family in Montreal. On Saturday & Sunday mornings, I loved joining my uncle on his walks to the local bakery. My favorite quote of his was, “nothing beats walking to the bakery, picking a fresh baguette & enjoying it at home with your loved ones.” I experienced this today.
