One of my most memorable trips was with my sisters to Santorini. Here is one of my favorite photos of the landscape. Do you have a favorite family trip memory?
📍Las Vegas, NV

In May of 2010, I met up some friends in Vegas to have a bit of fun gambling. When we landed on a Friday, we checked out MGM Grand & Mandalay Bay, on one of the far ends of the strip. Crazily, we ran into a UFC rep handing out tickets to an expo going on, to a weigh-in that afternoon & to the event itself, the next day (UFC 114). When walking through ballroom, I noticed the legend Anderson Silva standing by a booth. I asked my friend to take a pic & kind of improvised. Anderson was extremely cool & played along. Luckily, he didn’t knock me out lol. The next day, I got to enjoy the main event, Evans vs Rampage Jackson. Pretty epic weekend & some lifelong memories. If you ever get a chance to go to a boxing or mma event in Vegas, do it!

Also, if you have a great story about a pic from your travels, share it in /live-the-same & participate in the current @rounds below. Thanks @hankmoody!

📍 Buenos Aires - Argentina 🇦🇷

I had my phone's camera ready. The doctor said something like: ready, set, go! And that's how my little girl came into the world.

I was even fortunate to have a clock on the back wall, to remember the exact time forever. The exact time when my heart stopped and my eyes froze in amazement, and my mouth open and incredulous.

Happiness is something that is eternally pursued, but it can rarely be easily described, because it is a state of mind. However, I am 100% sure that at that moment I was absolutely happy, and I cannot compare that moment with any other. Because a light entered my body, which never went out again.

I once saw a movie that started with this message: "The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you discover why." I was there to have the exact memory of one of those days, and I long for the universe to let me be there for the second. She is everything.

Do you know how to say "no"?
It was a big problem for me some years ago, and I decided to learn it. And I found one good option. If I want to refuse someone's request, I answer, that I'm not sure and need time to think. Later I just send a message with "no" answer, explain why and suggest options, how person can solve his problem himself 🙈
My life became much easier when I started answer "No", when I don't want to do something.
This is the field behind my house, every afternoon this place becomes a refreshing place for us villagers, here we enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the mountains. While watching the children running around, playing ball, or just sitting and relaxing
This is a carnival event in my area. We usually call events like this a parade or arak-arakan...we all were very happy and enjoyed this event.
How cool. I love the art in those collectives!

I think that when you realize that your progress is on your own path, it helps you accept that it is thanks to you, and no one else..

Wonderful story @flexasaurusrex, it is very special and I had to share it here!

📍Glendalough - Ireland 🇮🇪

As a photographer, going to practice shooting in a cemetery is common in the profession. But honestly it was never my thing, since I don't usually visit those places, not even for the most obvious occasion.

This thought changed radically when I had the opportunity to visit Ireland.

I was amazed by the paths, the landscapes, the castles, the vegetation, the food, everything, and of course the bars.

Visiting a Celtic cemetery here was truly magical, you can only imagine the centuries of history there are there, and the beauty of the place makes it look like a movie. For those who have seen "Game of Thrones" or "Outlander", you feel like you're here shooting your camera like a special envoy!

I recommend, if you ever have the chance, to visit this country, to see its splendid sites, its people, and above all, its beer.

Dedicated to @wake.eth, on this very special day. He once mentioned that part of his heart is here...

My life has always been painted in vivid colors, shaped by the hands of artists, my parents. When their love fractured, so did the foundation I once stood on, forcing me to step out and create my own canvas, independent and raw. For 18 years, I have woven my own story, layering it with moments of resilience, growth, and the bittersweet beauty of solitude. Now, as fate would have it, the love that once separated them has rekindled, and I find myself standing between two souls reunited. It's a strange, yet profound place—witnessing the rebirth of their love, while my own path remains tangled in the brushstrokes of past heartache and future hope. Perhaps one day, I will show you not only the art that flows through my mother’s hands but the story of my life, colored by the shadows and light of all we've been through

We call those days the age of romance
📍 Carlos Spegazzini, Buenos Aires - Argentina 🇦🇷

A few years ago, I woke up one night because of a dream. But not just any dream, but one of those that make your skin crawl, that leave you in a state where you have a hard time discerning what is real and what is not.

I got up and started to investigate. I had dreamed that I had a beer factory, but I would never have thought of such a thing in my life.

So I signed up for a professional course and with the help of friends and family, I managed to condition part of my house and buy everything necessary to be able to brew. It was not easy, the expense was quite large, but I wanted to make sure I made a good product.

And so it was. I could not satisfy the great demand I had. It really was a dream come true.

The story has a bitter ending, since due to enormous economic problems in my country, I had to close the brewery. Then my daughter was born and I didn't try again. But what a great pleasure it gave me.

Have you ever fulfilled your dreams?
📍Castellón, Spain

Do you like to feel the adrenaline in your body? What is the craziest thing you have ever done in your life?

I have always liked amusement parks and riding roller coasters... And 13 years ago I went skydiving, just like that, without even thinking about it... one summer afternoon they suggested it to me and there I went.

The truth is that when you are in the plane and you see that it doesn't stop going up you think, "Who is going to tell me to do it?" Then they make you sit on the edge of the plane and you know that there is no turning back... and suddenly the instructor jumps out. It is less than a minute before the parachute opens, but it is enough to feel that adrenaline. Then he opens the parachute, gives you a pull upwards and you have time to enjoy the whole landscape. Finally you land, and that is when that feeling of excitement and euphoria invades you...

Without a doubt, an incredible experience!
📍 Ushuaia - Argentina 🇦🇷

When you visit this city, you come across a peculiarity: every place you visit is named End of the World.

So you can see the lighthouse at the end of the world, the train at the end of the world, the bus at the end of the world, etc., etc. The logic is quite simple: grab a map and look for the province of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, and you will understand why.

How I realize that it could be the end of the world, haha. When you are arriving at the airport in Ushuaia and the plane shakes in an abysmal way, you realize that something could end...

It is the most wonderful thing I had the pleasure of seeing in my country. You have trails to walk that dazzle you. And your camera will have so many shots that you will think about buying another one.

The tour to the museums is unique, and of course, a unique vehicle is used for it. Worthy image for the channel, the wonderful channel of my friend @basement5k.eth!
Nias Island - Indonesia 🇮🇩

🔵 History of Nias Stone Jumping

In ancient Nusantara culture, there was no involvement of physical training like modern sports. Native Nusantara tribes generally taught physical activity with tribal practices; generally rituals, arts, physical fitness and self-defense.

Some rituals of native Indonesian tribes are very similar to sports, such as the Nias fahombo tradition for the maturation ritual which is similar to hurdles and long jumps in athletics.

In ancient times, to be recognized as adults, Nias youth would try to jump over a stone more than 2 meters high. If successful, they would become adult men and could become soldiers to marry and get married.

Boys on Nias Island have been prepared to take turns doing "fahombo" since the age of 10.

Fahombo, as a ritual, is considered very serious in Nias customs. Boys will jump over the stone to gain their adult status.
