They played their hearts out. Lost £1,712.29.
Not counting Guinness. Or the extras.
The crowd was warm. Promoter solid.
They made memories, not money.
But this is why they don’t tour often.
Why Europe waits. Why Australia stays a dream.
Even with demand, it costs too much.
Even merch gets sliced by the venue.
They’re lucky—they can afford the loss.
Most bands can’t.
Music should feed the soul.
Not bleed the artist.

We got @alinaferry to feel something for the East Side. Sure, it might’ve been mild contempt—but hey, that’s step one. Next stop: Taco Zone, Elf Cafe, Eastside Luv, and a full-blown, eyeliner-wearing Morrissey obsession. Progress!
