Hate to predict this but the next Pearl Harbor-9/11 event will almost certainly be killer drone swarms that cause a mass casualty event we've never seen before.

Take 7000-8000 drones and arm each with a gun and 10-20 bullets, fly over some populated outdoor event and at once have each target their own human and fire, rinse and repeat every 5-10 seconds.

What's worse they could effectively take over a building or land area with a revolving 1000-2000 drones in the air while the other drones recharge on the ground.

Or just plant a bunch around airports and kamikaze them into plane engines and control surfaces and cockpits upon take off.

The technology is there, the only thing missing is motive from a state actor. China however could easily be that state actor... Some day.
