i have a difficult technical problem with Solidity that i’ve been trying to solve for quite some time now

i’ve had devs tell me its straight up impossible but i refuse to give up until i find an elegant solution. going to be posting a bounty shortly to see if anyone can crack it

this week i shared more on the development and design of @warpshop v2 🛍️

we’ve been hard at work the last month with this redesign and it’s finally coming together!
colors

we started @warpshop with two colors, white & purple. it was an easy choice piggybacking off of the Warpcast app color - purple - that helped us gain recognition quickly.

understanding that we’ll need to distinguish ourselves from Warpcast,we began exploring other color palettes.

thought process behind each iteration:

1) we really liked the cream & the dark navy colors, but felt the yellow was a bit too vibrant and out of place

2) the red color felt out of place still. the black was too dark and the cream felt too light. a step away from where we wanted to end up

3) we decided to go with two colors as it made it very recognizable. the colors felt professional, but unique enough to emit the vibe we wanted
loved chatting with @gramajo.eth! excited to see where his podcast goes 💪
thought process and mission of @warpshop

1) what are we solving?
- empower creators to engage their community in new ways & sell more of their products. simple.

2) who are we solving it for?
- creators & small businesses

3) how do we expand beyond just a “shop in a frame”?
- enable the creation of unique engagement & distribution mechanisms. build onchain. integrate with already popular e-commerce solutions
this is our current landing page for @warpshop 😐

we made it on day 1 and haven’t changed it. since then we’ve revamped the entire site, added a lot of new features, and started doing custom builds for clients. we knew we needed to fix this page, but we were so focused on the app itself we let it be.

however, before even touching the landing page, we needed a stronger brand.

we had to ask ourselves:
- what are we solving?
- who are we solving it for?
- how do we expand beyond a simple “shop in a @farcaster_xyz frame”?

this ultimately informs the branding and imagery behind Warpshop. what do we stand for?

so we got to work… starting with the colors. more on that soon
this week im helping designers & creatives launch quality clothing products on the superchain 🫡👕

hit me up if this is you!
this is called neuroplasticity

you can literally rewire your brain and change the physical structure of it. the more you “exercise” specific neural pathways, the stronger that pathway becomes

you can also create completely new connections in your brain thru new experiences

start painting and doing it over & over and your brain will physically change to accommodate those creative pathways. this is why u suck at things when u first do it, b/c your brain literally doesn’t have the functionality to do it yet. but you can build it up over time

same goes for if you DONT do something. stop painting, and you brain will slowly weaken that pathway
going to start sharing the process we went thru in rebuilding & redesigning @warpshop basically from the ground up as we prep for v2 launch

- rebuilt our frames
- new branding
- new workflows
- refactored ENTIRE codebase

lots more. hoping to give some insight on what it takes to actually build and launch something

working w a few different ppl on clothing now. im thinking that a community driven voting mechanism for what garments are sold could be ideal

my concern would be demand - since the garments are nicer, there’s generally a min order amount

gonna hack on a frame for this with @warpshop this week
i got a ton of replies & DMs about this that i’ll be going thru tonight

clearly there’s a lot of interest in /higher clothing! excited to make this happen

feel free to reach out if you have designs you’d like to get made!
why isn’t there more /higher merch?

all the designs i see are awesome and very wearable, but i never see any merch except for the arrow hats.

i have a full production, fulfillment, and distribution pipeline i could leverage to start creating clothes and growing the brand. i just need designs. anyone want to help?

can use any of these blanks here for high quality clothes:

we need some young/cool ppl to join Farcaster or it’s all cooked. how do we do this?
this week we’ve been hard at work on a new look for @warpshop!

im getting stoked on the revamped branding 👀
super pumped for this next update 💪
v2 coming soon @warpshop 😈🛍️

sell anything on the Superchain.

make any frame imaginable.
the ultimate hack is to build for yourself

i know we’re building a great product with @warpshop b/c I actually use it all the time to sell t-shirts

this is also the reason why I know the product needs a lot of work. be your own #1 customer and build the features you need
