I took a photo of a wildebeest on Crescent Island, a small park located in the middle of Kenya's Lake Naivasha.
It's a unique place because there are no big predatory mammals, so you can walk through it without a gun or a guide, and see herds of zebra, gazelle, wildebeest, etc. up close and on foot!

Following Jacob's example, my name's Edward,
I'm an American who lives in Australia - married to my best friend of a decade who I asked out while staying an a reindeer farm in Alaska in 2020... she said she'd "have to think about it" - but it all worked out!
I'm retired from the US Marines, now I study, write, foster kittens, and am working to find land to create a small farm modeling a sustainable, scalable approach to agriculture.
My belief is that I'm an extremely privileged and fortunate person, and my work going forward is to use all that to help lift others up. I've served in enough places to know the world is currently a very unfair place - but it is my hope that when I am a very old man, I can around and see that things are better - and I can point to what I did to help make it so.
I think that Web3 and technology has a lot of potential to level the playing field, but it's all about implementation. Here for the long haul, and glad to be on the journey together!

ITAP of the bar at Fossey's on Lygon St... a great gin joint, which is, sadly, closing after tonight. So happy my wife and I decided to catch a comedy show there tonight... it was nice to have a chance to say farewell to one of our favorite little bars with some bad jokes and good laughter!
