i saw someone announce that it was 1 year since farcaster went permissionless and i got curious
how much have i earned daily from just being myself here since then?
total earnings from airdrops and rewards: $13,450 USD*
> /degen (83% - bravo y'all)
> /moxie
> warpcast USDC rewards
> airdrops i wouldn't have known about without @daylight
daily earnings over one year: $36.85
this also doesn't include freelance contracts or gigs i got from @bountycaster and just browsing the feed. (and also doesn't include other priceless things like community and starting /unofficial)
i am still conflicted on the idea of socialfi, but i attribute that to a resistance towards having a maxi stance on anything. this is legit life changing money, and i appreciate that this benefit - for me - has occurred primarily in the background of my actual social experience here
tldr; balance is key. subtle socialfi.
*at today's prices - i'm lazy af and haven't sold anything i've gotten :)

this week for /uno we shipped:
✨ add channels to your stories ✨
this feature is proving to be an interesting space to design within - as channel membership is available through an api (i.e. not in place at the protocol level) other clients can choose to implement channels as they wish
channels in Uno v0 function the following way today:
> search through all channels on the protocol
> see which channels you are a member of on warpcast
> add *any channel* to your story - public or private
> the channel id appears in the Uno UI regardless of whether or not that user is a member of said channel on warpcast
Uno is prioritizing the discovery of people, so our current approach to channels - further context for casts - allows us to focus on enhancing user discovery and our own un(o)ique approach to communities onchain
but as always, we're open to feedback :)

so, if you've ever wondered something about the farcaster network and the data on it - shoot

> who has been the most mentioned user this week?
(will answer as many as i can over the next couple of days!)
