Clear skies here again tonight and just found A3 again. Easy to find with decent binocs (not naked eye) midway btw Venus and Arcturus, just above the line btw them

The big picture last night. A3 was visible to the naked eye but only so so barely and only if you already knew where to look imo. Behind the treetops on the right here. Had to walk downslope in this field a bit to find it ☄️
The olds I will assume had way better night vision. Hard to imagine what seeing something new in the sky would have done but interesting to stand there for a bit and try
If you know Arcturus and Venus and have clear skies tonight, good chance for seeing it. Will be pretty much midway on a line btw them
Binoculars were key for me, then iPhone cam surprisingly decent, if not award-winning astrophotography lol
