Ottawa GreenPill has officially applied for the GG23 RegenCoordination round 🎉
We’ll use our funds to help reward newly on-boarded users who are planting part of our 500 white pines we have this spring. We’ll be using Silvi Protocol on Celo for this and add @glodollar to our commitment pools.
We’ll also deploy funds into different lending strategies and donate our earned yield to local charities. At the end of the year I’ll write a recap report on how it went in hopes of encouraging local orgs to explore DeFi as a means of supporting programming without touching principal 🤝

One of my goals this year is to experiment with using some Ottawa GreenPill USDGLO in DeFi (lending) and donate all the yield.
It won’t be a lot but my goal at the end of 2025 is to highlight how even small amounts of crypto can be used to fund local communities (food bank in this case).

Every year I go through the same cycle of feeling both excitement and heavy uncertainty at ‘what’s next’.
At this stage I’ve gone through the cycle enough times to know it’ll always work out - even if it works in the opposite way I expected or things get really bad before they get better.
I always find a way through by taking it one step at a time. Nothing in life is certain, but part of the adventure is trusting yourself to navigate it nonetheless.
