The Pratfall Effect: The Power of Imperfection in Marketing

My new article about why you should start using imperfection in marketing to drive better engagement!
🌍 I’m fascinated by the way prediction markets like Polymarket are influencing our information landscape. These platforms enable people to bet on the outcomes of various events—whether political, economic, or social—by using the collective intelligence of participants. The potential of financial gain often sharpens accuracy, making prediction markets a potent tool for forecasting and combating misinformation. It follows the saying: Put your money where your mouth is.

⚖️ However, prediction markets are not without their challenges, including the risks of manipulation and concerns that they might trivialize serious issues. Yet, with new platforms like Polymarket on the rise, we have a renewed opportunity to leverage these tools to foster a more informed and resilient society.
Pomodoro - The Focus Tomato for you: Do you struggle to stay focused and get things done? If so, it's time to try the Pomodoro Technique.

This time management method was created by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s and named after a tomato-shaped kitchen timer. The premise is simple: work for 25 minutes, take a short break, and repeat.
Does OpenAI Try to Clone Perplexity and Halt Their Recent Success? OpenAI has announced the launch of SearchGPT, a new feature that is currently being tested by around 10k users.

This is a step in OpenAI’s efforts to jump on the AI-driven search market wagon.
It is not about what happens to you, it is about how you react to it
Thanks, Chippi Family! I won't let you down! I am all ears if you have input on how to be your best possible representation in the @zksync ecosystem!
OpenAI is rumored to launch a search product, potentially adding a new competitor to the search market. ChatGPT set a new traffic record in June 2024 with 2.9 billion visits, a 96% increase year-over-year. This traffic is valuable and could be turned into a solid search product.

I wonder if they would clone perplexity.ai as seems to be a good way for LLM-Search. From there on we will see an increase in AEO --> Answer Engine Optimization
I am still looking for an Marketing focused community in web3. Let me know what I should look into. I highly enjoyed doing marketing work for @banklessdao but maybe there is some other places where I can share expertise and learn new things... Any ideas?

I registered as a Delegate on ZK to take my political science degree from the University and apply it to the real "new" world in the blockchain world.

It is the perfect place because I believe in the ZK Credo: Truth can only be found in numbers. ZK is the logical conclusion to guarantee our freedom and prosperity

It would be an honor to be your delegate!
There are definitely worse places to write my next article. Bermuda-inspired, beer-infused knowledge about the importance of project management in marketing teams.

It will be ready on the weekend. Feel free to explore my other writings here: https://paragraph.xyz/@mariokondo
Does anyone have experience with cookie3 (formerly known as MarketingFi)? Seems interesting from an analytics side…

Just watched the Google #Marketing Live: The new search experiences (with AI overview) are killing the advertising mid-funnel.

Focus is on lower funnel (conversions) & top funnel (brand awareness). Mid funnel (inform & convince) is becoming a thing of the past….

New Article: "tl;dr is Destroying our Attention Span"

Quick hits of pleasure often overshadow depth and meaning. It is called dopamine culture. It's characterized by an ever-shortening patience, leading to what is now known as the TL;DR syndrome. This syndrome isn’t about saving time; it reflects our attention span.
Happy Pancake Family sunday Morning
Project Idea: "Alignment - A delegate match-making tool"

This should help to improve the delegate selection process and align your governance profile with your delegates' profile

However, I need a technical partner to build this. Interested? Get in touch

🎯 Attribution is like teenage sex. Everybody talks about it, nobody really knows how to do it. Everybody thinks everybody else is doing it, so everybody claims that they are doing it
I published a new article: "Traditional vs. Account Based Marketing"

Account-Based Marketing (ABM) sharpens the focus, creating campaigns for specifically chosen key accounts. Where is the limitation for ABM and where can it be used effectively?
GM. Happy Sunday. Would appreciate more input on this one. Thank you
Ahhh nice! A place to discuss one of my fav productivity apps. The usage of my mouse went down heavily since I use it.

What is your favourite use case?
Third time's a charm? Not for Google, as it delays ditching Chrome's third-party cookies again, pushing the date to potentially 2025

Caught in a regulatory uncertainty, the ad world has to remain flexible on their plans.

Will it change your timeline or are you already prepared?
Rise and shine! Time for the weekend, time to enjoy the time with loved ones! Enjoy it! ❤️
